Can't use the grappling bow

I've done the quest story and I know i've used it before but now I just ´can't use it. Was going to do the grapppling bow pathfinder but can't. Is the bow supposed to be a memento or am I just supposed to be able to use it pointing towards whatever they're called? Please help

    What did you do? I have the same problem, the synergy just wont pop up
    NWM, just bugged as rats. Fixed itself shortly after

    Sorry for the necro but I'm having the same problem. How does it "fix itself"? I've been running around the same area standing right at the pillar. Tried disabling addons etc, no luck.

    Ok so logging back in fixed it temporarily, but then it stopped working again mid-way through and I plunged to my death.

    Now it's once again stopped working entirely.

    This needs to be fixed :(

    Final update: After several attempts and several re-logs I finally got it.

    Advice to anyone else googling this: After each successful jump, make sure you turn around and aim at the previous pillar just to make sure your grapple bow is still functional, especially before you have to leap over the big gaps so you don't bug out mid-flight and fall down.

    Also just want to point out that even the brazier was buggy and wouldn't light up right away, took several attempts for some reason.

    Personally I blame the two monkeys that are waiting at the brazier, IMO they're the ones messing with the gears and putting their banana peels in the quest engine clogging things up.

    I killed them both without mercy. You're welcome.

    Gotta wonder how much damage grappling would cause to your back, knees, legs, ankles. Every time I do can't help but imagine my character screaming in dire pain. Just like in Cyrodiil. :)

    It would likely rip your arms out of their sockets.
