I see lots of decent argument but also lots of "nerf" crying.
Dracane has good point of malacath synergy with proc sets. Its not bad idea to find some solution in that direction rather than nerf it to the ground like they did with thrasian.

But to people crying to much about proc sets like red mountain, caluurion, plague slinger, widowmaker, pilar of nirn... They have delay and Im fine with it. If they have counterplay i dont care.

There was someone earlier in thread saying that he will charge you with plague slinger, velidreth and pillar (or widowmaker), I say please do. Just attack me with all that delayed procs with area of effect i can walk out of.

On other hand venomous and this new charge set with huge dot (and similar, sets) are real problem. And hopefully will be toned down.
Right now in bgs most of the people running proc sets (specially venomeous) think they just need to attack and sets will do the job, and most of them die easy. But when you find decent player that can pressure you with regular dmg thats when procs shine.
It has to stay viable way of play, just not as easy. If they have some condition, delay or something that gives you chance to counter it that would be fine

New stam version of Caluurion is already superior to its magicka counterpart and working with Mala. So why does Calu shouldn't...

I wonder how this will go up aganist the new crit damage set. 1 force shock +18%crit damage taken, thats going to be pretty juicy with the fat impen nerf.
I kinda like that theyre giving crit builds the ability to compete with procsets, altough in no cp, i suspect malacath and procs will still take the cake.

Pff gapcloser into fear or knockback and you better be fast with that rolling when it is 1s delay and it's aoe. Also we can use Unleashed Terror + Way of the fire. Both doesn't have any wind up, they deal damage simultaneously with hit.

...and as I said earlier, Caluurion is the smallest offender now when it goes to proc sets, new Stam sets are much more dangerous.

    Edit:
About Malacath and proc sets, yes this item shouldn't buff these. Except of that it's ok. more details: When I did parses it slightly gave more damage than without it, but the difference was less than 10% in total DPS and I don't play any high crit oriented build, in noCP I have like 10-15% crit chance and 10% more crit damage above standard 50% (from passives). Effects? ~1k DPS difference. It's better with it but I haven't became some kind of godlike killer with Malacath and TBH I don't care will values of Malacath be nerfed or not, if it will it won't be worth to use. The only reason why I'm against nerfing it is that it adds some options. Nerf Malacath values and it will become another unused set like many in the past.

    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge
