Guild name is 'BLACK LIVES DONT MATTER'.

Since Zenimax own all in-game content (like all account etc) should I sue with them for racism?

What you should have done is report it in game. Either way they don't approve all names before they go through so stuff slips through the auto detects. I'm sure once this gets to the right people the guild will be forced to change its name.

Just remember this life lesson: erasing something because you don't want to see or deal with it, doesn't change the fact it exists and will continue to afterwards.

You can't sue a person for being racist... Yes it's disgusting and I see them all as [snip]. But free speech in both eu and us includes backward thinking. If you report it they will delete the guild and most likely ban the person who created the guild.

    Yikes.

However, delete it once and it will return. Unfortunately, you can not just "delete and ban racism" whether speaking of IRL or ESO.

What you see there is not good. (And I've seen some extremely more racist things as of late regarding that in ESO),

But I'm afraid any solution is simply temporary.

EDIT: And, I'm not a lawyer. But no, you can't sue them. There's no way you're going to blame a company for having a platform for people to POTENTIALLY do something. There's always a way for ZOS to have some sort of Plausible Deniability, much less a way to denounce a user for the way that they use their services.

It is a shock value troll, if anything. If this is your first day on the internet, welcome. That's kind of common. I'd honestly just recommend reporting it and moving on. Is racism bad? Yeah. Should the guild owner be disciplined for the name? Yeah. Is complaining about it on the forums going to do anything but (more than likely) end up in arguments and a thread lock? No. Report, let ZOS take the appropriate action, and don't feed the trolls.

Report them in game. I know that ZOS banned people trying to cosplay a *** gathering in Craglorn so chances are they will ban this guild or at the very least force them to be renamed.

    Greetings all,

After review, we have decided it best to close this thread as it does seem to be heading in a negative direction. We have made sure to pass this information along to the proper team for investigation.

    Thank you for your understanding,
