TineaCruris✭✭✭✭✭ESO appears to be two games. PvE, which works perfectly for the most part. And PvP, which doesn't even come close to working perfectly and as soon as there are 20 people in the same location, regardless of population, the game becomes unplayable.
This is where the disconnect appears to be coming from when you see some say things are fine, and other say the sky is falling. For those of us that PvP mostly, and came to this game to PvP, we are not able to play in PvP zones without very significant issues at all times.
PvE appears to be well supported in ESO.
PvP appears to be an afterthought that does not warrant any investment on the part of Zenimax.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Give IC a whirl. I was on the no cp IC campaign last night and it felt like a never ending deathmatch battleground. All 3 factions were fighting, and it was actually a lot of fun with zero lag. I know a lot of people prefer Cyrodiil, but it's really not an option right now during prime time sadly.0 -

If the game is "beyond trash", then why is it at record popularity? Surely the number of players would be falling instead?
Why are there not 100 new posts in the rip pc eu thread? Why are there no red banners at the top saying there is an issue that they are working on?
It's the hyperbole posted here that makes people look silly, and Zos just ignore them, or close them when people start insulting each other.
There are big issues in particular for cyrodil pvp and trial stuff. There have been some sensible posts on this lately. Why not join in with those instead of adding another new tantrum thread?
The issues above affect c 2% to 5% of the game's population. The cost to zos to fix it most likely outweighs the benefit to the small amount of players it affects. Hence why they remain unfixed, and will likely continue to do so.
If they could fix it, they would have done so by now. It has been poor for at least a year now.
Sooner or later, the cyrodil pvp and trial community will realise that there are better performing game's elsewhere for their play style and leave.
Don't get me wrong, I understand your frustration, and would be too if it affected my gameplay. In fact, a year ago it did, so I swapped server, and now it doesn't.
I made my decision. Sooner or later, the above groups are going to have to make theirs.

I have so many issues with ESO but try to just tune them out and focus on what's fun, that's why I am here after all.
PvP though that is much harder, because stability has been atrocious for years and never seems to make strong gains in improvement.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Totally has nothing to do with the 70%off sale and most of the world stuck home 😋
Think how cool it couldn't been if most of these players actually stayed if the game ran as it should.
I got 4 friends to try it out and after like a week they have all bailed because of performance (I didnt even take them in pvp - standard pve questing and normal dungeons with massive lags, sluggish skills and ping spikes).1 -

It's no wonder that Zos ignores it. If they could and would fix the problems, they would have done so by now.
There's only so many times you can smash yourself in the face with a brick.
Sooner or later, people will be left with three choices to make:
1) quit
2) accept that performance is poor
3) try a different server
I did the third option a year ago, and it worked for me. The choice is yours.
The screechers can continue to screech if they like, but they may find that Zos makes the decision for them.0 -

Our guild house has a combat dummy, with a transmutation station on the way in the next week or so hopefully.

Mancombe_Nosehair✭✭✭✭✭If you bought a car five years ago, that started to break down if you drove it above 60mph, and would cost more than the cars value to fix it, would you:
1) continue to drive it above 60mph and complain every time it breaks
2) drive it under 60mph because you love the car
3) dispose of the car
Its akin to buying new hubcaps for a car that has a broken axle.
The game is just too popular, and the cyrodil pvp and trial players (a very small percentage of the population) are suffering the most.
I wish everyone could have the performances that most players like myself have, but it is not to be.
It's not the players fault for it being too popular. It is their fault for throwing tantrums instead of acting in a mature manner.

✭✭✭I have a hard time understanding how people even play and have fun ( pvp of course ). Was it just me that couldn't fire any skills unless I push a button 5 times? Why would I be the one that freezes up when a group of players got near me, their skills all looked like they were firing off.
I'm not sure why I'm here, guess it is just a habit of coming to the forums. Normally I would wake up and play ESO but since the last update I can't any more. Just a waste of time and causes too much frustration. I tried but now I'm spending my ESO time learning ASP.Net Core MVC. Learn something new, I don't lag and my keyboard actually works when i push buttons.
If you want a friend, get a dog.

✭✭PvP used to be really fun, but now I can barely tell what skill im using as it freezes all the time, crashes and so out of sync Im having a hard time knowing whats going on around me.
For example playing with guild mates....and well just had to stop and was just not helping at all......not fun staring at a frozen screen all the time...
