But no, you go straight to that purple furniture plan that my lvl 7 has no interest in ever making.
I should submit a ticket every time it happens, I'd have 75 open tickets by now.

This is why I open the "2nd" anniversary box in my list, that way the "new" item that goes to the top of the list is at the top, and I'm clicking on the next box, rather than the plan.
Or... you can slow down just a little bit.
The behavior of the items is the same throughout the entire game, so I'm shocked you're surprised by it

Here's the thing: I've got 200+ containers over 20 characters to open every morning while I do my actual job. I don't have time to slow down because of some illogical nonsense that a major gaming company can't even handle inventory management correctly.
Another thing is that I'm on console. Input lag sometimes makes it so I don't have a choice that it opens the next item automatically, without warning. At least PC players can sort to only show containers in their inventory window.

There is a difference between knowing how it works and accidently hitting a button when you don't mean to.
I know that the guild traders have easily steal-able stuff all over their stalls, and I know that if I'm not careful I'll have a bounty.
But that doesn't mean its not a dumb system and people constantly steal stuff accidentally.
I refuse to believe this is my fault, and you seem to hate victims as a matter of course. I could guess which side of the political spectrum you fall on.

what does that have to do with anything?
be thankful you still have a job. many people don't.
be thankful you are able to do other things while at work. many people can't.
be happy your biggest "problem" is that you accidentally click on the wrong pixels on a computer game and a different character knows a plan. (which you'll probably get again on another character).
priorities man... priorities. If you get this bent out of shape over this... yikes.

You can refuse to believe you're not wrong but you're the only one opening the boxes and if it was just an accident then you should slow it down and do better next time. 200 boxes over that many toons doesn't = a *** system. It means you and you alone are the only one to blame.

Please, I've argued with you on almost every post I make. If you don't somehow respond to every whiner on these forums I'd think you'd have a heart attack.
Just because there's a work around to a bad system doesn't mean its not still a bad system. Why is this so hard to agree upon. It used to be worse before they rearranged it, with containers and items constantly rearranging themselves regardless of what item you used.
If the game moves the selector up instead of down, it doesn't matter if It was motifs or potions, food, or materials, it'd still be an illogical way of moving through the inventory.

An ad hominem attack is an attack on something to devalue a person's "value" or "expertise" on a subject on something totally unrelated to the topic at hand.
Your attack "I could guess which side of the political spectrum you fall on" is a prime example of this. Had nothing to do with the topic at hand.
There is no other reciprocating type of ad hominem attack towards you... they were all very specific and very pertinent to this particular example of you clicking too fast through your "free rewards".
I'll be stepping away from this thread. It no longer affects me, nor do I care. I don't want to expend my energy on it anymore. I have a solution that I use, I proffered it as a suggestion. You refused to take it, instead seeking to cast blame on anybody but yourself, and then claiming that it's just "normal" behavior for you. And then bullying and seeking to insult my political leanings (which you have absolutely no clue about, and I'm fairly positive you are absolutely wrong in your logic).
I'll leave with the same comment I made earlier. priorities man... priorities.

Lol what are you talking about? Why would I hate you? Why are you trying to immediately guilt me and control the conversation?
Gotcha, so you think everything should be catered to you especially when you're wrong and you didn't do something right and if you don't you're going to whine and cry about it on here. I'm glad you can at least admit when you're doing and your actual intent.
It's not a bad system, that's why it's so hard to agree upon. You don't just get to decide the system is bad because 99% of the player base can use it but someone opening 200 boxes a day can't seem to figure it out.
You don't even give an alternate system, you're just here to "woe is me" everyone. Nobody cares, there's 11 more full days of the event left. Go open so more boxes and instead of spamming through them, BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING THEM. I know it sounds insane to maybe take an extra second when opening the boxes but it'll completely solve this problem.
