Frankly, the quality of content has dropped below the floor. Find the floor, look under that, and that's where you'll find ZOS's development standards for a CHAPTER in 2020. The sheer laziness and disrespect to fans who still hope for things to get better is unbelievable. IDK who it is, but someone severely incompetent is calling shots they're unfit to be in charge of. Heads should roll over this.

I hate this. ESO is one of the most beautiful, well-made works of art ever created, and some overpaid, glorified modder is coming to work, punching the clock, and utterly FAILING to perform their duties. Someone at the top PLEASE figure this out and get it fixed!

✭100% agreed the quality of content has taken a nose dive and the game is stuck in a depressing formula of rinse and repeat. Not sure about people losing their jobs for this but something at Zenimax needs to change because the future for this game is bleak and grim.

Haywire30✭✭✭You're calling for the people at the top to look into it, but I can almost fully guarantee that it's the people at the top that are responsible. After-all, someone's deciding how much in the way of resources are assigned to ESO, and as is typical, the devs can only work with the resources they've been given.
Look to the bean counters if you want someone to point the finger to. They're your most likely culprit.9 -

Tigertron✭✭✭✭I was real excited about Elswyer. I pre-ordered and rode my mount. Skipped a day of work to go fight dragons.
This chapter I am actually dreading the release. My performance is crap so I already decided I am not spending anymore money until that is fixed, but the changes to vampirism will force me to change my build and playstyle yet again.
I just can't really get myself hyped about that. I honestly do not want to relearn the same game over again for the third or fourth time.4 -

the lack of dawnguard/a hunter group and the absolute horrific design of the vampire lord ultimate are both major disappointments and I can agree it shows a certain lack of something.
What really kicks me about the vampire lord ultimate is that they HAVE the vampire lord model in the game. In the zone trailer that they released today they showed a vampire lord at the Harrowstorm. Which I think might be the actual transformation and what we saw today was super early in dev?
But idk, I've learned to not trust the trailers anymore.1 -

✭✭Gotta say, i am disappointed at first glance.
It does not look nearly as interesting as i hoped.
Even the trial sets are pretty ***, as many of them rely on heavy attacks.
And here i was hoping for magicka tzogwin, with no pen buff.
Man, there is so much stuff they could do... 4th skilline for classes, a third morph option for some of the best ability in the game, which they could later expand on, a new difficulty mode taking in account the incremental power we get in mmos, so nerfs wouldn't be as "needed" anymore, and cp could finally resume... I would suggest a mythic plus like system.
With this new system we could also get a new tier of quality for gear, call it like divine....
There is so much stuff to do, better than this.
Instead what we get are nerfs each patch, like what is the point of playing an mmo if there is no progression, and instead of getting stronger you get weaker? Also, where is all the good stuff?
Sets are bad at first glance, because they rely on heavy attacks, vampire skilline looks mildly interesting, just like antiquities....

nah. there's gonna be a surge of skyrim kiddos buying the game and/or chapter.
and a lot of resources were likely put into (potential) performance improvements, which ESO sorely needs.1 -

parpin✭✭✭i saw the whole skyrim/greymoor map on youtube, it is small, i get it there is more content underground, but with underground and surface content, it is still looks small to me, i kinda felt it is half as big as elswer, i do not know, we have to wait and see and play ourselves, and see how many hours of game play it is, from preview i saw on youtube it looked small tho.1 -

illiobro_ESO✭✭No doubt about it. I’m looking forward to the story of the zone but the rest of it is quite underwhelming. The new vampire skills are cool but the Ultimate needs worked on a lot. No new combat skills or guilds. No central Skyrim. The quality has definitely decreased. I hope they wake up for 2021.1
