Invitation has nothing to do with games popularity... it would actually made sense in the opposite, that if the game was more popular, it would have been more pressure to ditch the invite system.

But in reality invite system is to ensure the forums is only registered by active purchasers of the game and not spam bots/alts.

Honestly anytime anyone throws out "the game is dying" or "everyone is leaving/left" or "the player base is lower than ever" I immediately tune out and find anything else they try to get across as hard to take seriously.

Why do you want to make it seem like something it is not? Do you honestly believe that?

A person would have to read someone saying these things in order to tune them out, that doesn't mean they couldn't comment in the thread about in and be in conflict with what they said, not at all. When people take someone's meaning or what they said, out of context it is very easy for everyone else to regard anything that person says as having no importance.

If you want to be relevant, stay relevant, stay on point, argue your point intelligently and effectively, don't reduce your responses to attacking other people and pretending to be clever in some novel way, it didn't work this time and won't in the future.

What concerns me is why you are even asking about an invitation code, are you bothered you only have one name on the forum, and that your name is forever linked with your account? Seems to me once here it would be a non issue as you never have to request it ever again so long as you behave yourself.

I tried that, and kept losing arguments to my alternate account.

As far as the OP is concerned, most players cannot tell whether the game pop is going up or down. The game is designed to hide that from us. Lacking facts, or for any means to challenge assertions, people are free to say that the game is declining, or increasing, without fear.
