Maybe focus on what is fun and do that instead.

ESO still has soooooo much content to do !! It is actually staggering when you think of the size of the game. ESO + Friends = Fun

On combat I will say, it has been pretty made somewhat homogenized and more causal in PvP. Other than that and some bugs I love the game.

Um how is it a quit thread when I don't play? Does the forums have a rule saying only people who play now is allowed to post?

So by stating a reason why I will not come back, does that fall on the quiting? Hm, this might be a problem. This is either a failure of reading comprehension, or rules I don't know about.


With that being said, thank you for doing the mods job. I'm sure it will pay off for you one day.



Now going back to the topic at hand. I miss the days when using basic attacks, using skills in mid attack chains was fun. It felt more like elder scrolls. I want them to bring back them glory days for me, but i'm sure some people don't like it. And enjoy the changes to classes. More power to you. I just wish I had options I did before with the combat is all.

I don’t think they have revealed everything yet and have been vague or held some stuff back so as not to spoil the game for everyone. Be patient this only a reveal to build up hype and excitement nothing more.

Sure, but what I am asking for is not unreasonable. It is for them to give me the options I use to enjoy with its combat. It is not like I am asking for them to take away what other players want. It is to give back what I use to have.

In all honesty I read your original post the same way as others clearly did, it reads like you've chatted on Discord while playing the game and given the disappointment with Greymoor it's time to leave again. That's genuinely how it comes across. Nowhere do you mention that you're not currently playing the game, or that you're not coming back. It's all about you currently feeling the same way you do whenever you leave the game - strongly implying that you're leaving it again.

if you dont play you have only 2nd hand info with which to make sweeping assumptions without any unbiased 1st hand knowledge, i dont play WOW and i certainly would not think about going to a WOW forum and throwing my 5cents in and expect to be taken seriously.

the new content has only just been announced and ppl are complaining about skills and class before the PTS has even gone live let alone any up coming changes being fully announced, so regardless of what you may or may not of heard there is only 1 fact at the moment and that is we simply DO NOT know what is coming to the game yet nor do we know anything about the up coming patch anything that is posted or talked about in regards to them is nothing more than conjecture and guess work without basis.

Also, no amount of content is fun because I don't enjoy the class system in itself.

Before we had ability we could toggle, and focus heavily on Attack swings, and blocks. Now they heavily lean toward spamming skills. IT takes away from the elder scrolls feel, and all I ask is them to bring back that option to be a good valid playstyle.


So I talked to my discord in what they thought, and said they not even going to watch the video or care about the content unless the combat improves. So that is what the thread is about.


The game combat use to be better, and I want it back. and while you are saying I don't know what is coming..you are right. I'm saying that some of us just don't care about the content until core issues get worked on. And I find that sad because I use to enjoy the game.

From this thread, I also learn the community has went downhill also. I've said nothing that would take away from the game from you all. I just requested playstyle I use to enjoy come back, and it would make some people more excited for this content.


You all need to learn to chill out a little.
