Vampires being involved in the next expansion....

"80,000 Concurrent Viewers: The Long-Winged Bat pet"

This is one of the viewer rewards for the stream next week. If this doesn't pretty much confirm that vampires will have something to do with the expansion, idk what does. I believe denying vampire's involvement by this point is quite silly. They won't be the *only* threat of course, but much like how we had imperials, dragons, and necromancers in Elsweyr, I imagine something similar shall happen this year. Reachmen, vampires, and ??? so yeah.

What do you guys think? For me, I personally think it is quite telling. They could of made it a lot of other things besides a bat.

do you have to watch to earn the pet or is it automatically unlocked for all players once 80k is hit?

Says specifically that we'd be unlocking rewards for everyone by watching, so if you can't make it to the stream you should be okay.

I hadn't ruled out vampires entirely OP. Just until yesterday when I saw the probably-not-so-coincidental stream rewards, as well as a freakishly detailed dream I had, I was more convinced it was going to focus on the Falmer.

I've changed that stance now.

Chapter is Skyrim. Bats live in caves. Blackreach is a giant cave. Blackreach is in Skyrim. These things don't necessarily also coincide with Vampires.

Besides I don't understand people's obsession with Vampires. Why not Werewolves? Ever think of them?

I think the TES community is not obsessed with vampires per se... Just Skyrim vampires. Gotta' score that floating winged blue elf transformation!

Ugh. I wish they just made the vampire lord thing NPC-only.

Reason why people are obsessed with vampires, at least in ESO, is because they are considerably under developed compared to Werewolf. Werewolf has a whole play style around it, where as vampires do not.

Many, many people want a vampire rework for this very reason. Also to make it less just taking it for the stats.

Vampires in ESO are disappointing though. The only cool thing is being able to sneak a run speed. Nothing else about it feels like a vampire. Even the feeding is weird.

Yeah, werewolves actually feel like werewolves. Nothing about my vampires feels vampy.

Vamps haven't really gotten any love since launch so far as content goes and the game's now 6 years old, I think it's fine to throw people who like vamps a bone.

I can agree completely! It astounds me how people can't understand this to be honest.

I have had many pet bat's in many MMOs that didnt even have a vampire. That being said, I find the theme of undead over done these days and is getting old. So I hope not.
