These community managed fundamentally misunderstand the community

Hi to anyone that cares,

After a few posts and a little argy Bargy I get this long obtuse, convoluted message about being warned that I was being personal and flaming.

I can only surmise that all the people on that thread , having a little fun, where also warned .

Which brings me to the point - how is ZOS spending so much time telling us to be nice to each other - so much time and money - when the game is broken . Instead of trying to foster an environment out of a children’s nursery rhyme understand the following

We are not friends
Some of us don’t like people
Most of us would not help each other
Flaming is fun
Trolling is legit

Instead of trying to hold our hands how about fix your game lest we move to something else

I'm fairly certain forum moderation has been outsourced to a third party. ZOS and crew have very little to do with forums, other then the post marked with a DEV.

What is the point .

The point I asked in the other thread was never answered . Just closed because people were Baiting and Flaming.

My point is are we mere children to be told by big brother to be nice to our fellow children

Interesting - wonder what else they outsource but still they set the parameters .

I don’t like how they operate , they never answer properly , the come in and mediate discussions with a heavy hand ‘to protect the children’ . People should have the right to bait or flame a little - it is how the Internet was spread

The Forum Moderation team and Game Development team are completely separate teams. We are not one in the same. Our job as Forum Moderators is just that. To moderate the forums and to be sure that members abide by the rules that we have in place. If there may be any questions in regards to the rules, please feel free to take a few moments for review them here.
