How ****ing stupid does that sound? Magplar have never been bis and now just gonna be junk with this kinda of stupidity.

    At this point anyone who is still surprised by the sustain "improvements", class identity "refinements" and DPS "adjustments" to help class "balance" must have been in a coma for the last couple of weeks (months?).

    I'm not one who usually plays around with my builds...….infact I never do!

    My main is a Magplar and yesterday I went questing and killing WB's with her...…

    I noticed very little difference from before patch to now, infact I swapped a couple of skills and I was very happy.

    Tonight I've done some normal trials, normal Maelstrom and solo-ed some base game 4 man dungeons.....

    I am NOT a hardcore Trial or Vet dungeon player but what I've tested is what I usually do and tbh I really haven't seen any problem at all :)

    It's time to build for max stats. Gotta pump your Magic into the 40k range at least. Although I have seen a Maelstrom run by someone who stacked their recovery so high that even though their max resource was so bad it didn't matter cause they regenned like, 3k a second in combat.

    They've been the BiS magicka class for a ton of patches. I wouldn't be surprised if they've held the title for more patches than even magblade and magsorc. The reason I made a magplar when I started playing in 2016 was that they were BiS for both healing and DPS.

    They're the worst class this patch, but they were BiS until just a few patches ago.

    These high AOE costs and damage nerfs are really not well conceived. Now if an AOE filled up an entire arena, then ok. But AOE's have a static, limited radius on a moving target (mobs typically don't just stand there waiting for you to drop an AOE on their head). Sometimes you honestly have to ask yourself if this combat team even plays the game. :/

    yeah, who used blazing spear anyway? first they nerf the damage to the point of useless, then buff? the damage but add cost that makes it as useful as our class shield for non health based templars.

    You should have at least 35k in your mag pool, 42k with most of your passives and pushing 50k with the right sets (alfiq, bright-throat, etc.) and max CP. Something doesn't sound right here.

    You dont wear alfiq and boast in raids or group content

    Hey smart*** I've kept up with the patch notes. But last I saw the sustain wasn't 1900 extra magic for blazing spear! It was like 500 or so. It's like they reverted back to the week one patch notes and left it there!
    And the comment about alfiq was purely sarcasm.
    I'm really starting to think some of you either work for ZOS or are really ZOS workers on forums trying to make it seem like the masses are defending their ripping us off.
    As smart as you all say they are then why are they reverting the dot buff they just put out a couple of months ago! Seems counter productive to me! And instead of worrying about the power creep they should've been fixing the performance for console. Take how bad cyrodil is during high traffic hours on PC and times that by at least 100! Easy 100 times worse on console.
    Anyways, they will probably put me a new star on my name on the blacklist now but someone got to say this. I don't just eat **** and ask for seconds.
    Anyways, doesn't even matter. I'm just venting anyway. Not like they're gonna do anything about it. I stay for my friends on console till it drops next month. Check it out. Arleady cancelled the automatic renewel. Probably just take a loooooooooong break.

    Necromancers were BiS last patch in pvp and damage dealers in pve.

    Stamina necromancers. Magicka templars were the top magicka DD for most of the year.

    Almost anyone who played a magplar in pve, & certainly almost every single Templar healer in pve.

    I still use blazing Spears on all my Templar’s. It provides damage, in the form of its own AOE and triggers damage as a passive. It can also provide you a minor defensive buff. Not only that but it helps others with sustain via it’s synergy. So even if it costs me, I can help others.
