Or else it is the code of conduct a the bottom of the site, but I doubt...

Thank you

    You can find it in some of the forum admins' signatures.

    @ZOS_JesC and @ZOS_RogerJ definitely have it.

    I've often looked for TOS on the forum categories page, but have never been able to find it.

    ZOS should really put it somewhere in clear sight, as they are so keen for people to follow it to the letter. I'm sure a lot of posters contravene the (massive number of) rules simply because they don't know what the ones which are not obvious are.

    Both CoC and ToS are at the bottom of the forum page. Not sure if that applies to mobile.

    Of course... forum rules are not, so here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/60843/

    Ah thanks @lordrichter !

    They are right at the bottom, in the black bar in very small print.......not surprised people don't notice them :o

    I still think they should be a lot more prominent, and in the main section of the forum page.

    Community rules can be found in categories/news & website discussion
    There is no winning or losing, but rather the value is in the experience of imagining yourself as a character in whatever genre you're involved in, whether it's a fantasy game, the Wild West, secret agents or whatever else. You get to sort of vicariously experience those things.

    So I followed the link you posted and ended up reading the thing.

    Am I right to think that someone posting on the forum to call out cheaters (the behavior not individuals) is against this ?

    @ZOS_JesC
    @ZOS_RogerJ

    "Naming-and-Shaming: We do not allow posts or threads that are created for the purpose of “naming-and-shaming” other community member(s). “Naming-and-shaming” is the act of creating a post to call out an individual or group by name, and making them the subject of public accusation, ridicule and/or shaming. Generally, naming-and-shaming involves an in-game situation and/or Terms of Service violation, which the ESO Community Team is unable to assist with. A certain amount of rivalry and competitive razzing is healthy for any game community, especially one with PVP elements, but naming-and-shaming goes well beyond that. It typically elevates to a point where the subject feels legitimately harassed. We believe that naming-and-shaming posts and threads can be abused and are very harmful to the community. We also don't feel that publicly calling out or accusing others by name on our forums is in spirit of the game or our community. If you genuinely believe someone has violated our Terms of Service, you should report them in-game via the support interface — do not bring the situation onto the official ESO community forums."

    If you think the forum post violates the rules, you can report it using the Report button.

    However, naming and shaming requires a name, as far as I am aware. Saying people are cheating, without details about who it is that is doing the cheating, is just talking about cheating. That might fall under different rules, depending on the discussion.

    I would be inclined to agree. As long as no one is being called out by name or enough hints are being given to link a name then the discussion would just be about cheating in general.

    E.g.
    "Some Raiding Guild Exploit" would be fine, but "That Raiding Guild Starting with * Exploits" would probably not be fine.

    Guys,

    Iam not sure what is your SLA but 9hrs to post the forum rules that are used to close thread on a daily basis is a bit outside my customer expectation...

    Dude. They are permanently posted and multiple people have linked them. If you need specific clarification, you are supposed to email the address provided at the bottom of the rules post.

    Threads like this make me feel really sorry for ZOS employees. Imagine wading through all those callouts every day :s No wonder people with legitmate issues never get a response-- like the losing rank thread :(
