"eso has stopped working" gpu error?

Hey there. As ex-wow players (wotlk time) me and my friend decided to play ESO. I bought it 2 days ago, downloaded from official site then hit play.

After 30-35 secs it gives the error: "eso has stopped working". All the time.

I mailed support, then begin to investigate. All my drivers are up to date, my pc is clean, repaired the game twice from launcher, messing with usersettings but no help.

Then i noticed at the crash report: "gfx.driver = Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000" line.

My pc is a laptop, which has Nvidia geforce gt540m as dedicated gpu. Intel hd graphics 3000 as integrated gpu. Even i force game's exe file to use nvidia gpu (through nvidia control panel), it does not and im thinking that's the issue for crash.

Supports automatic response is "send us game consultant (i already attached) and msinfo32. Did those but still no answer. So i came forums to seek help, i know helpful people from players are exist in this community (read tons of forum posts). So im gonna end this post with crash report and wait for helpful answers. Thanks all in advance!

you choose a bad time to start with eso, mate.
the crashing is a game problem, i dont think its on your end. when im in fight in cyro, i crash every 5min, which starts this monday, 3 days ago.
Normally they fixed such game breaking errors within hours, maybe the good times are gone, i dont know.
they promised us to improve performance and to rewrite some functions.
maybe this already started and it already broke other parts again.
if this comes now with every patch, i would prrefer the old performance and no crashs....

Enter Nvidias control panel and make sure your Nvidia GPU is selected, under CUDA-GPU units select your Nvidia GeForce gt540m GPU, also under PhysX configuration make sure your Nvidia GeForce gt540m GPU is selected.

Yeah as i mentioned i did those through nvidia control panel. Still the game insist not to use my nvidia card...

Hmm. So thats the way support responds a ticket? People also need to create a forum thread to get answers from the Support team?

Anyways my ticket number is: 190819-004395. I also reply from my mail address with further info. I hope someone now bother to read it and solve my problem.

Disconnects have been server wide ATM. I think it's happening to everyone. As others said bad time to join when eso is having all these issues lol.

Well good thing i did not start with ESOplus then huh?

But in my case it is not disconnect problem, cause i can't pass login screen. I see it briefly, then the crash comes. As i mentioned before it seems like an optimization problem. And still no response from the Support.

I see you bro. I wonder how a 5 year old game still has this issues? Cos when i search for my problem i saw posts from 2014-2015-2017. Exact same problems and they did not fix them already?

I see you bro. I wonder how a 5 year old game still has this issues? Cos when i search for my problem i saw posts from 2014-2015-2017. Exact same problems and they did not fix them already?

Hey i got a reply from the Support here it is:

"After reviewing your diagnostic file, it does not show a NVidia driver being installed in your computer. Ensure your video driver is selecting the correct GPU for ESO by opening either the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Open NVIDIA Control Panel and select Manage 3D settings.
Click on the Program settings tab.
Under "1. Select a program to customize:" click the Add button.
When prompted, click the Browse button and select eso64.exe
Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\.
Under "2. Select the preferred graphics processor..." select High-Performance NVIDIA processor.
Click Apply.
Close NVIDIA Control Panel and launch the game.

You can also try adjusting the following settings:

Open NVIDIA Control Panel, then Manage 3D settings.
Go to Program Settings tab.
Add the file you launch the game from by clicking on Add button.
In the setting window, change the 'Power Management Mode' to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'.
Open "Global Settings".
Select the below settings:
Vertical sync- Off
Threaded optimization - off
Triple buffering - off
Select the preferred processor as NVIDIA under global and program settings.
Click on Apply."

I already did the first part before sending a ticket so i did the other part (vertical sync exc.), still no luck. Did not work. Game does not recognize my Nvidia card so im in a dead-end here. I need to find a way to force it to run with Nvidia card. Any programs to do this?
