Dot nerfs are coming, keep healing in mind

Dots and single target hots were both buffed in a way that made them way too extreme.
Their influence on current health values in PvP is too much and makes fights polarised.
Right now DoT are superior and stacking them on players removes any skill in this game what so ever.
If there's 3 people stacking dots on you the fight is over no matter how bad they are if they spend 2-3gcd on putting dots on you, they'll win.
A single player can reach about 5k dps just by using the dots available for every class.

If heals get their well deserved nerfs the increased healing we got this patch will turn out to be a huge issue.
The current TTK is way too low and everyone agrees on that but a flat nerf on DoTs will bring us into another tank meta.

That's why I'd suggest a nerf on the dot standards by 40% as well as a 25% nerf on single target hots.

This would lead to dots being a support tool again rather than the main damage source of everyone (people are droppings shalks and bombers to have another dot on the bar)
While hots wouldn't be able to outheal too much damage from spammables

    Let me laugh in PvE.

How about buffing something to compensate for the too high dmg (in PVP)?.

Interesting but prepare for your opinion to be deleted and forgotten because you are a minority in ZOS's income. If PvP was worth something they would've never thought to push such a game-breaking, stupidly designed change.
    Very athletic eso player

This won't work as it just enables an irreversible power creep.
You'd end up either in a meta where no-one can die or people will explode in seconds.

The only issue we have right now is dots that deal too much damage and if they get nerfed, which they should, hots turn into an issue.
There's no reason to buff anything else of we exactly know what the issues are rather than buffing things randomly which has unknown effects on the whole meta

Change with the times or quit. Those are your 2 option.
