Warden || PvE only healer help

Soul Shriven
The build I've been using has been working, but now its become inefficient due to low level armor sets. I'm soon approaching level 50 CP160 in a week and will be hunting for level appropriate armor sets. I've been using mother's sorrow and combat physician. The issue is I have been relying on combat physician damage shield so badly I can't survive with out it.
I was thinking about replacing combat physician with a heavy set like Mark of the Pariah so I would have a 5 set of heavy and have some resistance, but its been hard to move away form combat physician because I need it when playing solo to save my life or keep players in dungeons alive, but not as much in a group in open world.
I'm a Warden, healing only, cant DPS or Tank.
Current armor sets are at level 30-40 CP 0 will update at cp160
Skills are mainly regenerative healing
I can get spell crit to 60 or 65 if needed to
Question 1:Any suggestions on armor sets or stat changes for a pure healer warden? NOTE: own all DLC's no set is off limits.
Question 2: whats a good spell and physical resistance a healer should have at a minimum?
Question 3: whats the minimum spell damage a healer should have?

Your answer is to use food buff. Hp will be higher, and mag will be higher (stronger heals)

Some easy sets/food to get started, setup.

Necro+bright-throat (overland sets), All light armor except shoulder (med), helm (heavy.
    Tri+stat drink or witchmothers brew.
    Resto/lightning staff.

With this start setup heals, sustain, dd, & shields will be nice.

I don't worry about resistances in pve, buffs/shields/knowing fights will be enough. Only tanks need to cap that resistance, not dd & heals.

The above setup you wont have a high spell dmg, but if you look at your dd skill tooltips you will notice increased dmg across the board due to stacking magicka.

    Edit/add later

Question 1:Any suggestions on armor sets or stat changes for a pure healer warden? NOTE: own all DLC's no set is off limits.

start with getting someone to craft you seducers and julianos at cp160. then work on getting bogdan's/sentinel of rkugamz for your monster set. then go to craglorn and get into normal trials there and get infallible aether, to replace your julianos, then go do normal cloud rest and get vestment of olorime to replace your seducers. then work on getting Symphony of Blades to replace your monster set.

    sets-

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Law_of_Julianos
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Nightflame <--- bogdans
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Sentinel_of_Rkugamz_(set)
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Infallible_Mage <--- infallible aether
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Vestment_of_Olorime
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Symphony_of_Blades_(set)

    some good tertiary sets are-

https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:The_Worm's_Raiment <--- if group is mostly mag
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Hircine's_Veneer <---- if the group is most stam, transmute jewelry to infused/mag and use weapons.
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Healing_Mage
and if you actually get into end game content, some have their healers wear ebon, https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Ebon_Armory, again transmute the jewelry to infused/max mag and use 2 heavy on the body though, as the group wide 1k of health goes away on bar swap for a split second.

as for food, you ought to be able to use witchmothers on a warden, as you will always have 10% more health, my nord warden has ~16k before that, but nords have a bonus to health. you may need to use a health glyph on your armor for other races.
Question 2: whats a good spell and physical resistance a healer should have at a minimum?

don't worry about them, you just use the base that comes with 5 light armor and 1 heavy and 1 medium or 6 light and one heavy, depending on your resource management needs. since all the dropped set i have mention are light sets, you are going to need to get you heavy and either light or medium from your monster set.
Question 3: whats the minimum spell damage a healer should have?

again, don't worry bout this, my main healer has ~1800 spell damage and i have healed pretty much everything short of vet hm trials. just get the sets i have mentioned and then enchant your jewelry with any combo of spell damage/magicka regen/cost reduction and find whatever your feel comfortable with. most healers have at least 2k regen, so aim for that.

I can get spell crit to 60 or 65 if needed to

spell crit is really not the best stat to have on a healer, you want your base heals to be large enough to where they are going to the job regardless of crit. with the sets i have there, you will have between 36 and 46%, if you use a source of major prophecy.
