Issues are mainly in PVP and (veteran) PVE trials (raids). In those game modes lags, freezes etc is life or death question. Overland (pve zones) lags too... maybe you are new, and so you have nothing to compare with, but even few month ago responsiveness, fps and latency in PVE zones were much better too.
Also your experience depends on hours of playing, when far from peak hours game performance is overall ok.
You have two main problems one is the dungeon finder who is pretty broken and they plan to replace it.ChimpyChumpy wrote: »I bought the game less than a month ago and I;ve had no problems at all. You might get issues in trials and Cyrodil at least 30 day CP has plenty of issues.
It also depend a lot on your hardware and not being unlucky.
And yes OP don't make much sense even if zos has an tendency to fix two things and break one.

ZOS, either hire some professionals that can do this job or let it be.
Let the game die peacefully.

lol low ranked forum account, first post is to say let the game die
I'll take you seriously but only for a moment, leave the game as is and those who still enjoy it which by the way is far more than you think will then have a much worse experience meaning the telegraph issues will not be fixed. This wont work and would be counter-productive.
Like seriously, Kind of tired of this now... if you are so upset if you really think the game is dying and if you want the game to die then please....for the love of everyone in this community just leave and dont let the door hit you on your way out.
Theres only so much "We complain because we care" can excuse in terms of stupidity.

True, I had forgot about the upfront costs.halucin0g3n wrote: »[Quoted post has been removed.]
I partially agree with you, but Netflix doesn't charge upfront. Here, we bought a product, the standalone game and also a service which is the monthly fee by ESO+.

I mean sadly, there isn't much we can do. We can keep asking for changes and better focus on stability but it needs to be done in a constructive and polite way still. The people who read the forums are not the ones who are ruining the game for everyone, they're the ones working their butts off the delivery a great game for everyone.
There will be disagreements with them over balance of course, but there will always be disagreements over balance (buff necro!)
They have done investments, within recent months. They just didn't work as well as they thought. Hopefully more is happening soon.halucin0g3n wrote: »ZOS is ruining the game because it keeps getting money from new players overwhelming the infrastructure but does little to 0 investment in ESO`s infrastructure expansion and probably two-three junior developers that are also overwhelmed by the situation.
That's not how things work normally. Normally each studio will have a budget assigned by higher powers, ZOS will have whatever money it's given to invest in ESO and Bethesda will have whatever money it's given to invest in Fallout 76.halucin0g3n wrote: »They are using the money to keep alive other dead games like Fallout 76 and also develop games like TES 6 and those mobile thingies.
Again this isn't true. If it was there wouldn't be any investment in combat and gameplay balance, something ZOS does a lot of.halucin0g3n wrote: »Let's be fair here. Whatever investment is done in ESO, it's to facilitate cash grab, not to improve the game.
Indeed, more so by the fact this seems to be becoming a trend.halucin0g3n wrote: »Even the fact that the EU server went down for 12 hours after a patch went live is disgusting.

A majority of the games developers have no choice in what their focus is, and the content they produce is great. They just don't have the time in their development schedule to stop and spend months on post launch fixing that would help with the game. The TV is a product, ESO is a service. A better analogy would be if the TV was a streaming service like Netflix. In which case if it wasn't working, most would cancel their subscription and find another service which offers something better.halucin0g3n wrote: »I'm curious if you buy a broken TV, what will you do. Netflix like ESO does charge upfront. Sorry to break it for you. Most things do like rent or power. Like most stuff in the EU...
One doesn't need to argue, but healthy debate can bring better understandings and help prevent future frustrations.halucin0g3n wrote: »halucin0g3n wrote: »Every MMO has been dying since they launched according to their forums. I'm done. I expressed my frustration. Don't want to argue with people like you or the other one with "troll".
To my understanding, ESO is far from dying. We have more and more players coming in, to the point where current systems cannot withstand the amount of players. This is good on the long run, even if it currently feels like a bad thing as a player.

Don't listen to these toxic forum trollers, games fine as is, these lot just complain for the sake of complianing cause they got nothing else to do. They're tryna demotivate new players from playing by pushing the "game is dying" agenda. I do both PvP and PvE, both work great no frame drop that would put me in a disadvantage, these lot are mostly game raging trying to blame something for not being able to kill someone in game.
