Can someone tell me the proper lighting to use? The 1st interior is way too dark. Don’t recommend gamma changes because my gamma is fine.

Can try Redguard Chandeliers and/or Alinor Sconces, if you want it quite bright.

    Or Breton Torches.

There's a variety of light sources you can use.

You can look through the items in the lighting section, for something suitable, here:

    https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/furnishings-by-type/

Bear in mind, some are brighter and/or have a bigger light spread than others.

On the whole, go for the larger flames, over the candles, for brightness and spread.

For example, the Nord Chandeliers are nice, but they won't provide as much light as the Redguard ones.

Oh and it's normally good to put a selection of lights, at various different heights and positions.

So, you could combine chandeliers with sconces/torches and braziers, for example, so the light isn't all coming from one place/height.

...and no, it isn't your gamma.

Practically all the houses are dark.

    Just the way they are.

But, you can make them bright (even too bright, if you want to!), you just have to use the right kind and the right quantity of lights.

The clockwork lights used subtly will light everything up, but I tend to use daedric table lamps
