It will be cool to become lich necromancer who can wear anything I want. Since skeleton polymorph has nothing on it, I hope dev team can change it so it can be overlay by outfit.
Skeleton plus clothing (or armour) is desirable, but this isn't the only way they could do it. Having "skeleton" as a style page collection could let you override some slots with bones to mix-and-match.
On a related topic: is there a priority order documented anywhere for what overrides what? I know a disguise gets top priority, and I think polymorph is next. The issue of what slots are covered also factors in.
The idea sounds great at first but when you look at what that polymorph is used for, you will realise that proposed changes would be not very beneficial.
Skeleton polymorph is used to:
Decrease renderer strain during trials and raids. Whole trial group members wera this polymorph just to get a few fps.
Eliminate issues caused by Pirate Skeleton set proc.
Whether thoser are myths or not is to be tested. If they are, then yay for your idea. If they are not then sorry.
As cool as this would be visually, the skeleton polymorph is popular in trials specifically because it removes the display of all other cosmetics. This results in higher FPS and smoother control of your character for actions like light attack weaving. I would not want any change that removes this performance benefit by forcing the skeleton to wear armor like non-skeletons.
Doesn't seem like a bad idea to have the option to overlay armor (via Outfit station) to any polymorph, but I honestly never see this change actually happening. They have bigger fish to fry.
Sadly this doesn't work because the skeleton poly is a specific type of skeleton; I forget the lore category for them. The dark brotherhood DLC also has a dressed skeleton poly.

No new crafting or game systems for 2019? "Season of the Dragon" would be better named "The Year of no New Major Features" https://i.imgur.com/TPscgS9.jpg to see major features of the last few years compared. https://i.imgur.com/X8qY0gP.jpg to see a detailed comparison of this year's Q1 to the last two Q1s. https://i.imgur.com/4z71cK8.jpg to see a detailed comparison of each years' first two quarters combined. https://i.imgur.com/jrHe5h8.jpg to see a projected comparison of the full years and what 2019's Q4 will need to catch up.
Unsubbed January 15th, 2019 due to the lack of any new substantial features shown to be coming in 2019.
