Spiked Armor, Volatile Armor and Eclipse

I never get any reply ingame for any kind of report so here we go.
1) When you get damaged from any direct attack while Spiked Armor is active and when you have Eclipse casted on you, it damages you without doing anything.
Reflected damage is getting counted as direct damage done hence it procs eclipse.
Simply put, if a templar puts eclipse on a dk and anyone does any direct attack on dk, dk will take full damage from Eclipse as Spiked Armor will return n magic damage to the attacker for every direct attack taken.
2) Casting Volatile Armor from stealth, breaks the stealth on caster even if it doesn't hit anyone. This wasn't happening before. It seems this was intended.

1# Thats what i am saying, you get damaged even if you dont do anything. Anyone doing direct damage to the dk while having Eclipse on will proc eclipse. If you run out of stamina or when you are in the middle of a huge fight, you wont be able to Break Free, atleast not every time.

The second one is just the rule now. If you use fear and don't hit anyone it breaks stealth for instance. Don't think it's a bug.1 -

Your thinking of this move as a Damage skill and not a CC and shouldn’t.1 -

Yes I know exactly. The magic damage that is done when you take damage while spiked armor is up.
If you activate Spiked armor and they apply eclipse any melee damage will do “3250” magic damage to the attacker. Which then procs eclipse damage.
So basically your Armor buff works against you.
But just break free.
It’s the only CC in the game that still lets you defend yourself with other means. Every other CC you lose complete control of your character.
It actually does the same with wings. You activate wings they apply eclipse and every other Direct Damage move from range gets reflected but does eclipse damage.1 -

Actually no, i have tested this and it doesn't work against wings. Wings are reflecting the same projectile with source and destination parameters being the attacker itself. Damage return on the other hand has the source parameter of the caster hence its getting counted as direct damage.

I think you are missing the point. Eclipse requires you to use abilities to activate the self damaging component of the skill. So if you have it on and you try to light attack you take damage. But, what the OP is talking about is precasting a skill like volatile armor, which reflects damage back at an opponent when you take damage. So you precast the skill, and then someone puts Eclipse on you. And then that same person hits you with a light attack. Their light attack triggers the damage return portion of Volatile armor and that in turn damages you. The OP isn't casting any skills after Eclipse is cast on them. But they are taking damage from the skill because of a skill they precast. And in the case of Volatile, the damage is direct damage, but it isn't an active skill, so should Eclipse really be working for it?1 -
