Nord Resistances and 2H ulti

Since I can't get on PTS for a while, would someone else like to check whether the 2H ulti steals Nord racial resistances? A racial passive seems like something that ought to be immune to that particular effect. How do those mechanics seem to be functioning together?

What about would them would make them immune? The resists are just like any other.

Resistances are a bonus that generally comes from armor. Some buffs, but mostly armor. A semi-magical sword ability that takes someone's armor away is a great concept, but it only makes sense insofar as the source is "removable". A racial passive represents something about the character's biological makeup, not a piece of metal he's wearing, so it would be good story logic to exclude the Nord racial bonus from that effect. I was just curious if they'd done so or not. It would be something really cool to set the race apart from others. Something minor, but interesting to discover. Oh well.

You could say the same about the lady mundas then. Some about their make up. No. Would not make any sense to have them exempt.

I mean isn't this a good thing as well that they are not immune? Hit a Nord with it and you are at resistance cap with that ability almost regardless of your own resistance. Sure not a long duration but still.

Will my character die if they run out of health?

Nope, you can survive even hitting zero health.

Asking a question is not complaining. If you don't like people discussing and investigating game mechanics on the PTS forum then go somewhere else. Stop looking for threads to troll.

Resistances come from armor, CP, set bonuses, Major/Minor buffs, glyphs, Defending trait, Reinforced trait, Protective trait, The Lady Mundus, class passives, racial passives, armor passives, and probably some other sources that I'm not thinking of.

Don't see why the Nord racial passive should be exempt when other racial passives, class passives, The Lady, CP resistances, Major/Minor buffs, etc. are not.

This sounds awesome. I will now be looking specifically for Nords next time I slot this ultimate in PVP.

LMAO, I'm surprised anybody would voluntarily admit that one fairly uncommon race retaining a measly 6% armor would wreck his whole playstyle. It would be more of a cool point of in-game trivia than anything that ever has an actual effect on a fight.
