Just about all, you can make a case on Force Pulse builds to not use backbarred VMA staff and backbarring a 5pc like Moondancer and using Asylum staff, but those cases are limited, require good management and generally underperform in DPS anyways.

They boost heavys as well, which means lightnings heavy attacks AOE are boosted.

Even in the 0.01% builds that run fire staff vMA back bar, and have lightening one front bar, heavy attack damage is relatively neglectable. Therefore saying that it "buffs cleave", is 99.99% misleading.

    It is technically correct though.

No it isn't. Your "cleave" idea would only apply to ONE type of destro staff and as the other poster said, heavy attack damage is moot.

In reality you have 99.99% of the time double fire staff if you already have fire maelstrom one. So to all those builds, Please explain how in reality "it counts" as buffing cleave.

    Stop. Misleading. People.

Somebody needs their Ovaltine. It is not missleading if the proper context is apparent, the context you have so eloquently conveyed.
