Genius solution to the race changes

Genius solution: after the race passive skills have been changed, give all players unlimited amount to change their characters race for 1 week. No race change tokens, just give everyone the option to change the race how often they want and remove that option after 1 week. Players will have enough time to change the races and to test the new race skills.

✭✭You know not everyone may be able to log in for that specific week right? Remember all the qq about daily login rewards from folks that missed out on certain ones? Free stuff for login is one thing, but only having 1 free week when people (like me) travel for work and can't sign in for a week or two on something like racial passive changes would cause an uproar.

Uh.... for me that would be a disaster. I don't care about changes like this because I have 19 girls - and probably will eventually have 30.... so it doesn't matter what the game changes. I'm covered. I absolutely could not play just one girl.
So far, with 19.... I'm still WAY WAY below WoW - where I had 70 across 7 accounts and MANY servers. Or RIFT, where I had 50 over 5 servers.
I don't have the time or money to do that in this game. Two accounts. That works. And I spend the other disposable income on the store. Time - changes how we view things, even games we play for fun.1 -

Or you could be fair to everyone and offer enough free tokens to cover each character. That would have the same effect as the OP's suggestion without causing hassle for you.
But that wouldn't generate as many sales for ZOS, so it probably won't happen.2 -

I'm sure they did... but if just 0.1~1% of 10 million players buy a single race change token, that's $300,000~3,000,000 USD to basically purchase nothing.

I don't wanna to change race of my mains, they have all the lore and story, it's simply pointless to change race, it's like to change your own gender when you don't wanna do it. Change of class may provide some way outs of the situation, like mDK -> stamblade.1 -

No, the one and only true solution is to abolish racial abilities, entirely.
Or to reduce them all to only the very small QOL stuff and then, no one would have to change race, or hesitate to make certain class/race combos, due to them being suboptimal.
The solution suggested on this thread would help people financially, but it would still mean people would have to (effectively) destroy their existing characters and it wouldn't solve any of the difficulties and inequalities inherent with racial abilities, at all.Edited by Tigerseye on January 19, 2019 7:12AM2
