motif - to sell or not to sell

So been about 3 days now is the drop rate a mistake or intended to brake the ridiculous cost previously?

ive been selling mine personally just incase it is intended, i mean dnt wana save like 20 or so motifs to find out they were worth 40k up and then in a week only worth 5k

but i saw a guy buying them to save them to sell when hes thinks they will patch it, i sold him quite a few for 70k - 40k

do you think they will patch it? Are you to sell or not to sell ? Also bank full or rare provisions recipes but noone will buy them atm lol

Also I will buy recipes and motifs; I'm looking for Imperial right now and could use some other common Motifs for my alts. I have about 14k to spend so hit me up if you want some gold.

20 motifs?

How the hell does anyone have that many on their inventory? I only around 6 stored motifs at this point. >_>

Prices have dropped greatly since the last patch seeing that motifs are more common now, Barbaric / Primal are now selling for 25k-35k and Daedric around 40-60k as opposed to the 60k-80ks and ridiculous ~200k.

Prices will continue to drop imo unless the drop rate gets nerfed again.

Motifs are as rare as apples in an apple tree now. Kind of sux. They should have made all motifs extremely rare from the beginning. Crafting is a joke in this game, takes no skill or effort, just go group and boss grind and deconstruct all gear you get, voala and you be a mastercrafter in no time. I really see no point in anything being rare in this game. Just make all motifs and Purple provisioning recepies sold by vendor for 300g

It was an nerf in drop rate who also put an global cooldown on trunks, cabinets, desks and nightstands back in 1.0.5 this made them very hard to find as they are most common in this containers, the cooldown is gone now so they should become far more common.
I had found all the common ones at level 35-40, found Imperial in veteran zone after 1.1.2.

Remember to check trunks, cabinets, desks and nightstands then you enter houses: sacks, backpacks, barrels and crates don't drop motifs only cooking ingredients.

Weird. Found Breton, Orc, and wood elf motifs early in the game and used them - only to see folks later on offering obscene amounts of gold for them.

Thought to myself, "Crap! Could have made a ton of gold off those things."
