...coz its gives u long term buffs that help alot cut through basic content even fev highier lvl then u are. alchemy is good too but i found that pots supply is nearly enough from dungeon/world bosses & mobs drop. most needed gear u can get from drop or q revards. gear craft is more important when u hit Vr content i think coz u truly need an edge to win in really hard content VR lvling is.

i chose alchemy with provisioning a close second. you are never going to use those inferior potions you find in dungeons/ from bosses once you get a taste of what alchemy can do for you. unless of course you want three separate potions to restore each of you attribute pools versus just one potion that restores all three.

then there are the speciality potions like invisibiltiy, boost to weapon power + Weapon crit + restores stamina or boost to spell power + spell crit + restores magicka.

    It depends.

Blacksmithing produces both armour and weapons, but not much use to a sorceror.
Clothing Produces light and medium Armour, but not much use if your character wears Heavy.
Woodcrafting produces Bows, Staffs, and Shields, but you still need armour/clothing.
~So you need at least one of these, probably two, but not three.

    Provisioning produces good health/magic/stamina buffs.
Alchemy is a bit of a joke atm, but does produce some useful products.
Enchanting is useful, but a pain to get all three rune types in sufficient diversity to be really great.
~You probably want one of these too.

But which ones you choose depends on how you play.
People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

when u have good trading guild u can buy cheap blue or purple gear offen but u will be not able put evry item u made up highier grade for shure. uber ( expensive) gear is good if u dont change it offen & in eso grades dont have so big step in stats matter. fev lvl green will be better then purple one esp low lvl ones. we talkin about lvling not end game.

All are good. So there is an issue with inventory management, trying to get all of them up. My wife and I split the 6 down the middle, she does provisioning, alchemy and enchanting, I do woodworking, blacksmithing and tailoring. It works out pretty well.
If you had to just pick one though, I would say go with your armor. It's very helpful to get new armors every other level, and it's easier to buy/scrounge everything else from your guilds.

Only really woodworking and enchanting are what I couldn't see put on top.

Enchanting while useful is the most ridiculous pain to level.

Woodworking, it makes good stuff but its scope is so limited and seems to be missing a few things to craft.

Blacksmith so I can make my own armor and weapons but really it depends on how you play. I don't use enough potions or food to justify provisioning or alchemy yet though I will level them later.

I have points in all but provisioning. clothing, blacksmithing & woodworking maxed, soon I will have gold weapons & heavy/med armour with gold glyphs and top end potions that refresh all three stats at once... Why wouldn't you craft?

History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.
