Can't Play Game since Murkmire patch.

Been trying to play all week hoping that this would be fixed by now. So far missing out on the holiday stuff and daily reward stuff. Launcher freezes at 5% and closes down. I have tried several of the suggestions on the boards and nothing is working. Have been a customer since beta and am very disappointed in the way things are going now. Any suggestions that will actually work please share tired of paying for something and not only not getting to play but missing out on the event and daily rewards. If this can not be fixed and needs to be adjusted on ESO's end I would like to have an estimation on how long this will be an issue so that I don't start monkeying to much with my stuff.

i saw success after un and re installing, then repairing game files.
that fixed the issue for the update before murkmire, im at my repair step right now.

Thank You Fjord would only want to do that as a last resort because of how time consuming it is. However, I might of found another way. After trying all Zenimax billy's suggestions I decided to just close everything and do a computer restart and so far the launcher is nearing 20%. So to others who may run into this problem try restarting after the launcher fails and stops at whatever percent. It may save a lot of waiting time.
