Most Survivable and Helpful

The majority of my play time has been with a squishy solo archer. I would like to try something new. Where I can be in the middle of the blobs, survive and maybe heal a bit? I don't care about killing anything, just hanging around as long as possible. Just need a change of pace.

Templar tank?

Also, trying to locate a character builder. Been away for a bit and want to check out the changes.

I was using 5 reactive 5 impregnable 2 engine guardian on my mag warden, I was able to tank and heal pretty effectively. As a Templar you would be able to counter my biggest struggle which was haunting curse, bleeds, and Zaan using your purge.

If you truly don't care about killing, you want to play an outright tank? You might take a look what becomes of this thread:

Health wardens can be played as tanks and as control builds with lots of ice snare / root skills.

Just be mindful, if you're soloing as a tank, what do you consider a success? When people give up on you? People tend to beat on tanks, so I think your destiny is usually to die. It's only a question of how long you last.

The guy who said stamina warden no doubt means a tanky brawler-type DD spec. In my book that's a lot squishier than an outright tank. A different thing.
