How is the synergy damage calculated?

Hey i didn't find good information about this topic.
How is the damage from - for example - the talon synergy calculated?

Does it depend on the casters stats or the "synergiser" stats?

And does it scale with max stats, spelldmg, wepdmg?

I'm thankful for every bit of information.

They scale with the stats of the synergy user. Another important thing is, the damage also scales with whichever is higher, Max Stamina and Weapon Damage or Max Magicka and Spell Damage. Let's say you have 30k Magicka, 2k Spell Damage, 10k Stamina and 3k Weapon Damage. The synergy damage will scale with you Max Magicka and Weapon Damage.

But it also scales with CP bonuses. So in a no CP environment, two players (one magicka, one stamina) will deal the same damage with the synergy if they have the same stats.

Another important thing is penetration. Since most synergies in the game deal Magic damage, they scale with Spell Penetration, which is something stamina players lack. So it's best if a Magicka player uses the synergies.

For example, a Magicka toon with 3x Harmony jewelry, combined with the amazing damage buffs Nightblade have, can literally bomb a zerg with Gravity Crush (Nova synergy of Templar Ultimate) for more than 20k damage.

Great comment, judging by the class rep notes ZoS knows about the lack of stam support for synergy's. Not to mention stamina barely has any to begin with because we use weapon skills for most of our bars.

Lower dmg because of lower cp support, penetration, and availability.
