In a cosmetic game like ESO, vampires strike me as underwhelming and poorly in how they are currently executed.
The base look lightens you skin/fur/scales so no tattos or body markings are visible, even at stage 1. Most ironic to me is the "bite mark" marking doesn't even show. Your eyes do turn a bright red in early stages, but get more washed out and white the further it goes. As for fangs, there are none, despite numerous lore and dialogue referencing fangs. Out side of this there are no other changes like claws, a twisted face, or other possible features.
The current look is 'vampiric' to me, but it lacks attitude and cancels out a good portion of cosmetics, making it fail. Others have even said they'd rather just turn off the visual if their not using abilities from it or they want a new polymorph option that looks 'evil'.
So, what do folks here want? Are we happy with the look? Do we want tweaking in some way? Or is there another idea our there?
P.S. the feed animation is kind of crap too. I understand with the prior directX engine that getting a bite animation of a target might have been difficult, but after the kill animations of dark brotherhood I think we could update that as well. But that's secondary to the overall look
