Enhance Dune into a new Player Hub

The "Khajiiti Metropolis", as its been referred to ingame, deserves an overhaul in order to give it the importance it deserves, as well as to lessen the performance load on Rawl'kha.

All Dune needs is a Bank, Crafting Stations, and a location to do Writs, in order for the city to become a fully practical Hub for players to go about their chores and park their characters. The cherry on top would be its own in-town House. I do love Sleek Creek, but loading into Rawl'kha has become tedious and always requires at least one or two "Unusually Long" messages before loading in. Giving us more options in player hubs will spread people out more, thus lessening load times and increasing diversity in where we call home.

Throw in some Guild Traders, can always use more.

Also needs NPCs walking around, the place is a ghost town after the quest.

doesn't dune have like 3 bars too? i really like this idea.

there are lots of cities that look hugh/more important than cities that have been designated "hubs."

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

isn't Dune a desert planet where spice is harvested?
When asked what he would do for a Klondike bar. Grand Moff Tarkin said "why I would blow up Alderaan."

add a ShaiHulud shrine there that gives a melange spice buff, then people will go there for hajj.

Dune. Yeah. I hardly ever go there. I’d kinda forgotten all about Dune.

Excellent idea — give us a reason to visit this Khajiiti metropolis.

Dune already has crafting stations (except for jewelry, I believe), so it really just needs the bank and writ board. I spent a few days there last week and it was quite nice.

Dune was interesting. I went there because a friend posted some screenies of his girl there, including one of the "town" skyshard. So I thought, well, that's one I can get on my crafter easy. Um. Not so much of course, since it's at the Mages Guild - which is surrounded by hostile daedra of all sorts.

So, being me, and the crafter being a stamblade (which is DAMNED hard to manage with 2 second lag) I just set her to wait around until someone who could wipe the floor with the mobs showed up, and then I ran in and grabbed the shard behind her.

I like the rest of the place though. Of course, I really love all of Valenwood.... Grahtwood is the single most beautiful place in the whole game....
