Put cowards gear, prisoner’s rags, and troll king on my Orc stam sorc today. I’ve been zooming around cyrodil and it’s suprisingly effective at killing, not just running.

Am I at max speed? Is there any way to add more speed to my little sonic sorc?

    I don't think you're at max (100% iirc??)

In fact I know your not at max

You can also use Swift trait (which is pretty amazing)

I think you can still gain 55% more speed?

Go werewolf and throw on some Dreugh King armor. Perma Major Brutality and when you kill an enemy you get Major Expedition for 30 seconds. That way you can take the other Roar morph.

he can drop cowards, run 2 x swift, run bone pirate, and then use bow/quick cloak in place of cowards.
Probably similar max stats/sustain, but more health and the speed isnt tied to sprint.

There are some threads here on this very subject.

Summary, Orcs, with all the passives cant use all the speed boosts due to caps.

Basically, your capped at 100% boost.

So if speed is your thing, and you are at or near that amount, then look to boost Stam or Stam recovery. Or stack some more damage if resources are not an issue for you.

Coward gives you Major Expedition at 30% while sprinting.

Sprinting is 40%, so you are at 70% just with those two.

Orc is 10%, so you are at 80%

Prisoner Jailbreaker is Minor at 10% so that is 90%

Are you using Medium? That is 3% more sprint speed for every piece, so 3 pieces puts you at 99%. More than that and you are over 100%.

    100% bonus is the cap.

    edit: Corrected Prisoner for Jailbreaker.

but you can also get to the 100% without sprinting. so basically sprin ting would make you faster in the case of being snared, but in every other situation you dont have to sprint for being fast ;)

The other morph is pretty bad in PvP though, unfortunately.

Without sprinting, what am I missing?

    30% Rapids skill(Major Expedition)
30% 3 legendary jewels with Swift trait
    10% Jailbreaker(Minor Expedition)
    5% Steed Mundus
2.6% Divines with Steed on legendary items
    2% Windrunning CP passive

Can only have one major and one minor Expedition, and it seems every thing I haven't listed is tied to sprinting. I know there's also speed potion but I can't see popping them off constantly.

okok i didnt mean it like that. rather wanted to tell, that its not necessary to aim for the exact 100% together with sprinting, if you can have additional benefits from going above too.

You are missing the NB 25% in Stealth with Concealed Weapon. That would put said NB at 104,6% with all the items you mention. So you could forgo Divines. For every other class, what you list here (79,6% collectively) is indeed maximum achievable non-sprint speed, as far as i know. My Stamsorc is at 75%.

Yah I meant Jailbreaker for the Minor Expedition.

I suppose on a Stam Sorc you could just use Hurricane and then you Prisoners for the 50% cost reduction, but I find Hurricane can be annoying as it will aggro anything near you.

I've been running with a stam sorc recently that runs bone pirate/seventh legion/trollking that uses expedition pots(speed, immovable, stam regen) and 3 swift traits and I've been having a good time with it. It can move extremely fast in heavy armor without having to sprint, and it's not a gimmick build, it can hit hard and fight like a real brawler-type in 1v1 and small group.

The best part is that it doesn't really matter what sets you use, just take any already strong stam sorc and apply swift jewels and expedition pots.

Yeah, it's expensive, and getting 3 peices of swift is a lot of transmutation crystals, and that's if you even know the trait.
