Or: Make Craglorn PK areas!

So, since everyone and their dog are battle levelled in Craglorn, bring the Adventure back, by making it an open World PVP zone.

You can have a PK toggle and just obliterate anyone there.

Why should every zone be a free for all for everyone?

If you won't give us the difficulty back, then make ONE zone (for now, more later!) open for PK!

There are plenty of places for people to be who are lowbies/newbies to spend their time strip mining.

Leave us all One Dangerous Place.

Open PK in Craglorn!

    Also, no thanks.

Because if there's one thing that the resounding success of Imperial City anf the Bounty Hunter Justice System have shown us, its that PVEers love to mix PVP with their PVE questing.

    Wait, what?

Seriously, this grudge you have against lowbies in Craglorn is interesting. That's twice you've suggested changes that would lead to players deserting Craglorn en masse. It makes me think you just want Craglorn all to yourself rather than a zone filled with activity and other players?

At this point, Craglorn is a zone for trial grouping and grinding alts. If we want an "adventure zone"/vet solo PVE zone, it should just be a new zone. The game has evolved and Craglorn has a different purpose now.

We already have a PVE zone with PK enabled, Imperial City.

As much as I agree with most of what you said, I dislike griefers more than lowbie farmers. There are people who would find great joy in nuking people who are just farming or doing content. Imagine being in one of the dungeons, about to kill a boss to clear it, or about to get a skyshard, and someone camps it, ganking you. People would do this :(

I'm sorry! I was really thinking 'I'm totally channelling Dr ESO today!

    I'm sorry! <3

I just want any space back that's not full of annoying random open trades, harder content that isn't just trials or DLC, and I want our promised adventure zones back.

I want lowbies to really get out. Give us one tiny spot where it's harsh.

There was a reason why Craglorn was changed as the population of players using the zone was really low before.

We have one zone open pvp already in the game. So no.

I'd personally never grief. But even so, then you go in a group, as of old, and get ya shards. Why should people just get them ez pz anyway?

There are plenty of skill points until level 50+ that these would be easy to get.

Also, use old skool things like we did and stealth through or get a group. Or die multiple times to each one and let monsters reset.

All these things we did, and new players with any oomph can also do.

Imperial City shows us what most already know, namely that PvE and PvP don't mix. Fortunately, ZOS know it too.

Agreed that crag is not the place for this but I would like to see a new zone for PK. IC imo doesn't count as it is still, for some silly reason, locked behind a paywall. I for one have not paid my sub in quite some time and dont plan on it until they fix some very broken things.

If you want open world PvP then I would suggest having a PvP instance for every overland zone in the game, like SWTOR has. You simply go into your map and select it and you travel into that instance.

Be warned though, those instances are such a ghost town that they are more often used to farm PvE stuff since running into another PvP is remote. People clamored for this and got it, then summarily abandoned it. Turns out the world is a big place. Too big for good PvP to happen.

While I fully support the idea of open world PvP zones(factionless or not) I don't see any reason to make Craglorn "that" zone. They should simply add another PvP map with different objectives than Cyrodiil, maybe several to encourage smaller groups fighting over smaller objectives. I would make a zone with a few open wayshrines(with an immunity zone in the immediate area) and no transitus shrines with objectives like towns and keeps...zones that have more terrain that can be taken advantage of than Cyrodiil(Imagine an objective like Skyreach where the approach can be controlled and the defenders have a distinct advantage)

I get the impression that there would be about 5 guys on the map with PK turned on and they'd never run into anyone but those that have it toggled off. They would get frustrated by the lack of participation and it would result in name calling those that have no interest.

"[C]ommon sense relies on the vague notion of ‘obviousness’, which means something like ‘what we perceive from personal experience’ or ‘what we should know without having had to learn.’ In other words, common sense is not necessarily supported by evidence or reasoning. As such, beliefs based on common sense are unreliable. The fallacy lies in giving too much weight to common sense in drawing conclusions, at the expense of evidence and reasoning.

But so what if it is? It deserted anyway except for farmers who interact with no one, so it's false population.

It may as well be empty.

No with a caveat. It would be fine to make Craglorn PVP but only if we make Cyrodiil PVE. ;)

Seriously, I'd love separate instances. Add the option of entering Cyrodiil and Craglorn as either pvp or pve. Sort of like you choose normal or vet instance when you enter a group dungeon.

WHY??? Because the majority of players don't PvP.... Craglorn was an utter failure until they changed it to be solo-friendly, now it's popular again. Plus, you have Cyrodiil!! If you want open-world PvP, then go THERE!!
