Sloads is only an issue when stacked. If it kills you, you would've died anyway.

Sload's is only a non-issue if your target is woefully bad and lets themself get bursted down within the first one or two seconds of combat.

Any fight lasting longer than that (as any fight between competent players should), and the Sload's ticks quickly rack-up, and it easily wins the title of highest-damaging PvP set in the game.

Here is a mathematical comparison with Master's DW to give you an idea of how ridiculously overtuned the DPS on Sload's is.

Hell, Sload's even adds more burst than dedicated burst sets in some cases. Link to post.

And then consider the fact that the crushing pressure from Sload's, in addition to it bypassing core class defensive mechanics, means your target's HP is far more likely to dip below burst threshold.

There is no reasonable argument for Sload's being anything less than wildly overpowered in any form of competitive PvP.

But then again, it seems the only people defending it participate in decidedly uncompetitive forms of PvP.
