on a serious note I don't blame you a game that still has year 1 problems 4 years after release Ive never seen a game go backwards in terms of development why does this game feel like early access Ive seen early access games with better stability than this its sad to think a team of people and a huge game company is behind this game if I didn't know better you would think this was some crap indie game.

Honestly, after 4+ years of technical issues with ESO, I'm almost completely desensitized to all of it. Just means I waste my money elsewhere since ZOS isn't really investing it in important maintenance features to fix their game.

A year has 8760 hours. Sleeping a third brings you down to 5780. It was released on Xbox in June 2015. So, are you using diapers and food delivery service? What did you do the 2000 hours you did not constantly play in the last three years? And, most importantly, how do you manage to pay for that livestyle?

Honestly curious. Would like to achieve that as well (with a bit more time for toilet and food breaks).

Im considering installing something else tbh I love eso and hope it gets it's much needed tlc but it's difficult to play as it is right now. I'll give it a week or so and see what happens first. I really don't want to leave :P

So, just to recap, you've spent nearly 1400 hours, combined, playing a game that has - I would assume at least - entertained you enough that you invested additional money into it. I would extrapolate that you were likely also a monthly subscriber?
But, because this game has run into some issues - which the DEV's have already commented on are being worked on - you are walking away because these things are taking a moment to fix and are not being completed on your expected time table?

Is it just me, or does that sound a little... pretentious?

I get it. When something you enjoy doing has a problem and it sucks some of the joy out of it - it sucks. But, business being business, your walking away does nothing to solve that problem and - let's face it - in the long run has little to no impact on the financial stability of the game. From what I have seen on the forums, ESO DEV's have heard the issues and are working on the solution. You can't really expect more than that... right?

I am sure the DEV's hate to hear these types of complaints and are working diligently to correct the issues as soon as possible. However, your walking away is a drop in the bucket compared to the over 2.5 million subscribers (by last accounts I was able to locate, at least) who are playing the game, dealing with it's relatively minor hiccups, and enjoying themselves despite the issues.

New expansion. New bugs. Pretty much par for the course for ANY game - MMO or not. Perhaps a taking a breather from the game instead would be better. You'll come back to additional crowns in your bankroll and, hopefully, these minor issues will be fixed in a relatively short amount of time.
