This does not say: Fixed the large FPS dips when moving into areas with many characters.
Does this mean we'll have to endure another 3 %@#$^^ weeks (or whenever the next "patch" is applied) of FPS drops, freezes, and nearly unplayable areas again?

It’s 3 more years of it. 3 more weeks ... lol.
They're also calling the crashes "occasional" so who knows what we're getting because they were far more frequent than occasional.
"Fixed some occasional game crashes and disconnects."

Some of those animations we could do without.

the "someone" paid for that, everybody has to see it

Not when it screws the game up.
Same with all the fools spamming their AoE in crowded spaces on purpose to cause more lag.

lag issues when around a large group have been in mmo's for years. wow even had it.
the best way to solve this is to be able to turn off others spell effects and or even your own. not sure if this is in the game or not. but if it isn't it should be as older established mmos have it. perhaps a multi platform game engine doesn't allow it.
