Last Try to Communicate with ZOS

So after 3 threads that were all shut down amid people asking for them to remain open as a relevant concern (Bethesda ESO Comicon Reps), and after ALSO posting the thread in ESO Reddit, and finally personally messaging @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom over a week ago with no response, I guess this is a final cry for someone to actually contact me from the game so I can speak my piece. Please?

Well the problem (and very concise and informative post that went with it) concerns the Bethesda ESO booth at OZCOMICON this year, it's massive failings, and how it might be improved. I cannot post it here as I have already done so 3 times and had the thread locked (waiting for the 4th) BECAUSE - get this - a booth dedicated to promoting ESO apparently has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME and can't be discussed here or anywhere else.

and yeah. Gina and Jessica won't answer either.

OP is upset with the Bethesda/ESO both at a convention went that he attended and visited. Seems top have nothing to do with the game itself. Seem she was upset she did not get a limited edition something.

This is also OPs 3rd or 4th thread. My guess is this will be closed like the previous ones. OP seems to understand that as well.

OP is upset about the lies told about photographic sessions being made up as a high elf, having carted a 2nd cosplay outfit in for the occasion just to be told that the photographer decided he didn't want to take any more photos so the 'winners' were announced before the competition was even over. THIS is the major concern.

Plus a fully themed SOMMERSET booth with absolutely no give-aways of any kind, limited edition or not.

There were serious issues with the presentation, advertisement and co-ordination that need to be addressed if Bethesda wish to be taken seriously. The booth was DEAD.

the BIGGEST concern is the lack of reply from anyone representing ZOS or Bethesda. its simply disgraceful to ignore someones post for over a week just because the salt doesn't suit your style.

Yes I had Cosplay arranged, booked, full costume being painstakingly cared for throughout the day, and then when the time came it was basically "sorry. we're not doing you or anyone else anymore".

Well, that sucks. Basically wasted your time, effort and money.

The thing is though, were the people running the booth real employees of ZOS, or were they your country's local registered representative of Bethesda / ZOS? Or perhaps were they a third party advertising agency setting up the stall and managing it on behalf of ZOS?

This is the crux of the problem. No-one will communicate with me about the issues or who was even in charge. It was definitely a Bethesda booth with one side of OP merchandise and a screen playing shots mainly of Sommerset. then the ENTIRE flip side of the booth was a full Sommerset loading page backdrop, mossy boulders etc so you could get dressed up / cosplay, have your make-up / ears applied professionally and then have your photo taken by a professional photographer and MAYBE be one of the lucky 5 to be chosen to appear on an ESO page somewhere. So i'm guessing ZOS had to have SOMETHING to do with it, if not definitely Bethesda.

Sorry to be sassy......but this really is not the place to communicate this, as it really has got nothing to do with the product of the game itself, just stuff linked to it. Yeah it sucks that you might of not got exactly what you wanted and ignored, that is not cool. But you cannot force anyone to communicate with you.

In your position I would be steamed. HOWEVER, sometimes circumstances lead us down roads that aren't particularly fair or just. That's life. My question is...

What do you hope to glean from a conversation with someone at Zenimax? You have to expect you'll get something out of a conversation with them to be taking it to this extreme. Are you wanting to be compensated? Cause that's probably not going to happen even if you have the CEOs ear. Are you just wanting to rage for the sake of raging? Cause that seems a bit childish. Are you just wanting to give feedback to the organization itself? Cause you can do that with any company by sending a letter to the CEO at the company's address. I just don't understand what can possibly be worth your extra added time and energy when Zenimax has ignored you at a convention and then locked your threads multiple times. Why are you wasting your efforts on this when you could be doing something you love?

I think you'll do better contacting Bethesda support not ZOS support. Gina and Jess might be able to pass information on but they're not really in charge of how events are handled and organised.

What's region? You should have a Bethesda community manager you could reach out to via Twitter or something, I know they have them for UK/EU/ANZ.

Edit: This was OZCOMICON right? You probably want to try sending @ZOS_KelseyGamble a PM then, as they're the ANZ community manager, not sure if they're still active in that role but it's a start.

As someone who was at the ESO opening event 2014 at gamescom I can relate.
Bethesda may make good games, but they have some of the worst PR/CM-people in the business. Its like they intentionally try to make their fans feel unwanted.

I think your frustration is misdirected. Bit the help in this thread will point you in better directions. Banging the same drum that's not being heard to complain about it not being heard isn't going to work.

Look up email addresses online, if I struggle getting hear via support I do that and go to a manager.

However, how well their stand did is kinda up to them to worry about. But the inconvenience to you re the cancelation of your photo shoot, I can see that's annoying. Complaining about not getting free stuff less so.

So its a mixed case!
