Vote for unlinking Steam account
just add +1 to vote for unlinking Steam account and directly (or by choice if the launcher provides) login into the game.

✭You could make a poll. But this seems to be more of a steam issue than ZOS.. Steam needs to communicate an update with an MMO before releasing an update.
