Atleast make it a preferred status to obtain the crafting bag so you'd have to sub up atleast once after buying the game2 -

✭No, I think everyone should get the same rewards.The furniture limit should be the same for everyone. With ESO+, I don't even have enough slots so imagine those without ESO+. They might as well not use the housing feature.

So, while I love my craft bag now that I'm paying for sub... I survived without it before. Also not having it encourages you to sell stuff, having it encourages hoarding....
The craft bag is pretty much WHY people sub. It is a consistent source of income.1 -

Go into Cyradill on a new character, with barely any mount speed unlocked... and you'll realize that giving out mount speed beyond that ever attainable by non-ESO+ folks would amount to 'pay-to-win'.
I'm ESO+, I don't care for PvP, but almost every built seems to want Warhorn so you've got to at least unlock Assault 4...
- Was in there today on my roughly 9-day old Templar in a group, and I had a heck of a time keeping up with the others. Though it did not today, in the past on other low level characters (and in the sub-50 Alliance Campaign BTW), this has led to me being the ne to get constantly picked off by enemies racing after us...
If ESO+ gave more mount speed, you'd have people with it being able to dominate the campaign maps by getting everywhere first, and players without it would start standing out - as slow people in your group wouldn't just be a thing in the 'leveling-campaign.
I'm all for more ESO+ benefits - but what benefits could be given that would not start splitting the community apart - those with and those without being so different that they started no longer gaming together...
It's a careful balance to walk.

I would never sub again if not required for crafting bag. I can manage without double bank inventory. I don't care about any of the other perks.0
