So are Pokémon trading cards now illegal in Belgium?

    And the evil Surprise Egg?

Hundreds of thousands of children (and adults :) ) love those things and before someone chimes in with "well at least you get chocolate", I counter that with the crate thing that you always get potions/scrolls etc. Same diff. I'd also argue that the shell is actually chocolate; awfully greasy and white "chocolate-y" but each their own.

Reminds me, new "season" on the Kinder Eggs!

Hey now, I like Kinder Eggs! I didn't know the joy I was missing out on by living in America.

Are they still illegal there? I know it was due to "small parts". Never even noticed them when I lived in the US. When I got here 15 years ago, husband bought one and it has the silliest witch in it and I loved it. The designs are pretty amazing considering they have to fit in one of those capsules.

Oh and I'm a dark chocolate fiend. Gotta be 90% or greater. :)

As far as I know Kinder Eggs are indeed still banned there. Which is a damned shame, because I too love getting them with my husband and assembling the toys inside. (We actually have a tiny collection sitting on top of a dresser now.) Just one of life's silly little pleasures that I've discovered late.

I have a shadow box that's about 3 feet by 2 feet that holds the ones I've kept. Ranging from the entire Winnie the Poo group to An Elvis sheep on a motorcycle to a series of hilarious witches and more. Our nephews love getting the chocolate shell as well.

I don't know if they are the same thing but I can walk about 500 feet from where I am and buy Star Wars Kinder Eggs. I live in Northern California.

Oh, and that's from a store. Not a Kinder dealer on a street corner.

Edit: to be fair, I can also buy state lottery or multi state power ball tickets in the same store.

Haha, I wish there were more dealers of Kinder Eggs instead of hard drugs. What a much nicer world it would be.

They sell as "Kinder Joys" now in the states as the toy and the chocolate were separated.

Those are the "summer version" here in Germany for when the chocolate egg would just turn into goo and lack of A/C in most shops at least outside the big cities. I prefer the traditional ones but my nephews love the "summer" version because they are gloppy. Yuuuuuck!

I'm surprised the UK government hasn't jumped all over this like a rash. Not because they're unethical and all that malarkey, but because they love to tax every God damn thing under the sun.

They've hammered down on fixed odds betting terminals recently, so maybe this is the next thing  But I doubt it
