This. I hesitated as well, read this and did indeed get 3 boxes for turning in the writs. Just not in the inventory window.
Yes, when you finish the quest, it don't appear in the rewards window but yes in your inventory0 -

I got all my boxes early this morning on Xbox NA. Completed about 4:10am PST0

arena25✭✭✭✭✭Hey guys, ol' Arena25 here with some info on this bug (I'm on PC NA region/platform).
It is true that the rewards listed when you turn in your quest doesn't include the box. However, I can attest that when you do turn it in, the rewards include the Anniversary box (it'll show in the bottom right corner of the screen) and the box will show up in your inventory (I'll try to post a couple screenshots tomorrow to prove that the listed rewards for the daily quest LIES!)
So get in there and complete your dailies.If you can't handle the heat...stay out of the kitchen!0 -

✭i stopped receiving boxes when delivering the dailies about 1 hour ago.
i'm not sure if the event is over or if there is a limit on gifts received.

✭✭✭IDk about some of you but for me the reward boxes no longer show up in the quest/writ turn-in UI interface but I'm still getting them 100% in my inventory and it also shows up on the bottom right hand corner loot received UI element.
Just a visual glitch for me.0 -

PS4 NA: all boxes arrive in inventory OK. Quest reward tool tips do NOT show a box. Lower left items received scroll DOES show a box.
Tested via craft writs, Cyrodiil dailies, world boss and delve daily in clockwork and gold,coast. All boxes awarded, but none of the quest giver sheets show them. Hope that helps.0 -
