clarifying something for me in regards of block cost

Shield play enchant got nerfed but what I am curious on is

the base cost to stamina was reduced to 1730 so You get 1730 stamina away from your stamina bar every time you get hit?
What if you only used 1 shield play enchant instead of 3 on a Dragonknight tank?

Block Cost = (( 1730 - 1 Shield-Play enchantment 203? ) * (1-Shadow Ward 25%) (4-Sturdy piece 16%) ( 1-Fortress 30%)) (1 Iron skin 10%) * (1-Defensive Posture 8%)

what would the maths be on that?

1730 - 203 = 1527 - 25% = 1146 - 16% = 963 - 30% = 675 - 10% = 608 - 8% = 560

I have no idea if i did this right
but for me that would be 560 stamina cost for every hit i received?

    The block cost can be subtracted from your stamina pool at most once every 0.25s. In practice it's pretty hard to actually be hit 4 times a second for an extended period, unless you are fighting 1vX in PvP. In fact that was the stated reason behind the changed when it was done in Morrowind. PvE mobs and bosses usually have specific, predictable, attack patterns. The only situation where you would get hit multiple times a second would be a very dense trash pull, but usually mobs in such packs don't really hit hard enough to warrant blocking, unless one of them is an elite from trial or DLC dungeon.

    Yeah I do dense trash pulls often and I saved 156 stam per hit this patch that is coming soon for console, so I am happy
