Please reduce the cost of Negate Magick!

This ultimate (for example) cost 225 ultimate points which in pvp is a lot for waht it does, people are using mostly in pvp skills like Soul Assault 100 points, death stroke 70 points (and this skill hits like a *** train in your face if your wearing light armor, is devastating), Dawnbreake 125 points (many magicka builds use this skill because of the stun and the aoe even if it scale with physical damage), Dragon leap 125 points and etc.

Elemental storm cost 250 ultimate points, but is a very powerfull aoe that can follow you where you move, but Negate Magick even if it very very powerfull if you catch many people inside and they dont move quick enough out, in the practice is very very avoidable.

My suggestion is to make this ultimate and maybe other ultimates too more viable in pvp, specially in BGS for example. I dont know, make a morph more cheap and nerf or change something.

Yeah, I doubt this is viable. Suppression Field is a superb skill for controlling enemy ball group movements, and in dissolving them in general when used with a properly timed push. The focus of the ultimate isn't damage, it's the negate effect that renders a good number of players and builds helpless.

Want them to stay in the field? Corner them, snare, stun, and root them.

    CC is King in PVP.

Negate is fine, what makes it seem not as good right now is earthgore, which just needs to be deleted from the game.

I would say in pvp negate is one of the best ults and is just fine at the cost.

It's meant to silence people who are inside it, and negate placed AoEs. Quite useless against Eye of Whatever trains since it doesn't even stop their ultis. And by the time they move out of the orb they can heal themselves again just fine.

Sure, but only if I can get 7 seconds of immunity from it after being in one. Having to roll dodge through 3 negates while being immobilized every second on a magic toon is not much fun.

Seriously though in a group setting it is the most powerful ult in the game and it should come at a cost. Personally I'd like to see the morphs changed so that one is a magic negate and the other negates stamina abilities. Imagine the outcry from stam users :D

PvP in Cyrodiil is based mostly on choke points. The big fights usually do not happen out in the open. A well placed and well timed negate is devastating in these battles and can sometimes lead to a small group wiping a much larger group.

Negate is one of the premier PvP ults, despite the abomination that is Earthgore. Really doesn't need a change.

Instead of eating ALL ground-placed enemy effects, it will eat 1 effect.

So it *might* still hose your negate, or it might eat a wall of elements and let the negate stick.

If you don't like your negate, I'll happiely trade it for my nova.

Seriously though, if you want to buff some ultimates, pick one of the other high cost ground target ultimates (nova, veil, standart). Those are much weaker than negate.

Negate is fine as it is. It's very strong in pvp. Earthgore is a little crazy and unfortunately hasn't been addressed well - maybe it should not be able to have an effect on an ultimate aoe? But I did find it funny that shortly after nerfing troll king for being too strong a heal (which only effects on person) they put out a giant AoE heal set that will cap every in the group to top in seconds and get rid of all ground effects. Who didn't think this would be too strong? lol

A minor quibble, but troll king can proc on multiple people easily. It's not hard to make sure that buff is available to a full group with just one person wearing it.
