Now I'm wondering if ESVI will be revisiting some of the places we've been to in ESO. It would be really easy to do tie-ins if not, but if so, it might explain why we got so much of Valenwood right at the start...
I have a feeling that we'll see it as ESO is closer to its life cycle end, to keep a steady income going to Bethesda. Then when that's had its run we'll see ESO 2?

I don't buy this idea that ESO is somehow holding development back on TES 6.
Making TES 6 isn't dependent on ESO going away first. That's a crock. ZOS and Beth are two separate developers with their own agendas.
You want to know why TES 6 isn't being developed? Just look at Bethesda's recent history and you'll know. They're more interested in milking Fallout 4, DOOM, and Skyrim for as much cash as they can. It's cheaper to re-release those games than it is to develop a whole new installment.
Word is they scrapped the previous engine and are working on a brand new one. I'd imagine many design features are going to change and they'll probably be aimed at more immersiveness.
Also Bethesda likes giving us the biggest and best stuff. So expect TES 6 to be one of the biggest RPGs ever created. We are all aware of how much money they're getting.
I just watched an interview about TESVI and the developer said they can't start working on it because the technology simply does not exist yet for all they want to do with it. I would not expect anything till at least 2020.
