Can I upgrade my regular edition Morrowind to special edition?

I currently own the regular edition Morrowind DLC. I bought it a long time ago, and it was pre-ordered so I have the discovery pack. I was hoping there was a way to upgrade to the special edition later, like you can with the imperial edition on the crown store. Unfortunately I know now that's not possible. Does anyone know if it's possible at all to upgrade to special edition morrowind on this account, despite already owning regular edition?

You mean to get the Collectors Edition?

You just have to buy that edition. Which means you end up with 2 accounts. But other than desktop swag, there is no difference in the game between the two versions that I can recall.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I know it's only a small difference, and it doesn't even bother me that much but honestly I've spent so long searching the internet for an answer I'm just committed to finding one now lol.

The regular edition is already, I guess you could say linked, to this account though. So buying the special edition would give me another account and surely the swag would be linked to that new one. I was wondering if there was a way to essentially overwrite my regular edition, and get the upgraded swag on the current account as opposed to the new one.

Or am I being done and both accounts would have access to it?

The Discovery pack is the only in game swag that comes with the CE. But you had to have pre-ordered the Chapter to get that, so that ship has sailed. The Pet and the Costume are the only items that your going to miss out on. Although the dog is similar to what is already in the game, not sure if I ever wore the Warden Costume. Treasure maps are not all that great, as they are the ones that don't drop Set Items, and the Exp Scrolls, well, you can buy some of those.
