I fear that this 2-dungeon pack is what's left of that Murkmire DLC...

I have been expecting that new argonian zone for quite a while now,
and if we instead only get 2 dungeons, the rats are surely going to be severely disappointed...


What do you think?

    its a ZOS policy to stretch content as far as possible, to make many dlc’s to maximise profit.

    they are a company, we are customers and they can exploit this through tiny updates at full price making the game last longer and extending the opportunity to make money.

    I am beginning to see what Matt and the team might now be on with. It seems that Matt may have changed the distribution and planning of future DLC's from what was originally planned.

    Personally, I now believe that yes, this is Murkmire, or whats left of it.

    Q4 this year will bring us One Tamriel, and I suspect little else.

    I also am beginning to think that Vvardenfell (Q1 next year) is tied solely into Player Housing a la Aion style. For those that haven't played Aion, the player housing is a separate peaceful zone (albeit with the odd wild creature that you can kill, and fishing spots in the rivers around the housing)that consists of large estates of unique houses of varying sizes that you need to bid on with in-game currency on a weekly basis to retain. However all players get automatic access to an apartment block, from which you can upgrade to a house. The apartment block has a generic entrance for all players, whereas the auctioned housing is entirely unique.

    I think the next significant DLC will be Clockwork city, and I reckon thats not out until Q2 next year. Even then, I now expect it will not be much more than the city itself in the tiny zone of Thornmarsh with a few quests.

    Apparently Kai said at E3 (according to @Dominoid ) that Murkmire is still coming.

    What I think they did was pull the Dungeons out of Murkmire and have packaged them separately.

    That way, they can take a 3000-4000 Crown Murkmire and sell a 1000-1500 Crown Murkmire Dungeon Pack plus a 2000-3000 Crown Murkmire Zone in 2017.

    It will be interesting to see how they introduce these new dungeons. It's possible that we could just queue up for them without having to enter a zone. If that's the case, we could still see Murkmire as a DLC pack at some point with public dungeons and delves the same as the others.

    We'll have to wait and see.

    It's pretty obvious about this next DLC.

    They cannot release a new zone as it continually breaks the game. So they just release 2 dungeons from that zone instead to avoid the same problems.

    Wrothgar still has issues and now Gold Coast is wreaking havoc with the console player base as well as getting PC players stuck in zones too.

    Jessica posted 2 days ago that they are aware of the problems and that they are working on it, as well as others (which means they brought in help because they cant figure out how to fix it)

    Wait till you see the lag on console when text chat starts spamming the screen in places like Mournhold.

    I'd be glad if we got only 2 dungeons rather than a new zone with quests and a million bugs. I didn't even finish the gold storyline, didn't touch the 2 latest DLCs (thieving, killing people for money, what next? slave trade? prostitution?). Need some more content for those who don't want to play 10000 Quests Online: Questing Unlimited.

    @ReaX I too have little to know interest for a sneaky thieving storyline. I would like to kill or capture thieves. Murdering assassins and robbing traffickers may be entertaining.

    Nah, it was two dungeons + the Argonian Behemoth that got moved into VMA rather than being an overland creature in Murkmire
