✭✭✭✭✭how did someone get your password? a lot of times, account hacking comes from gold buyers. the sellers actually hack your account to get the gold back and sell it to some other poor soul.

Demolitionary✭✭✭Also in addition to the above, doesn't it also require you to get at an email with a code to authorize the IP logging in?
Unless, both your email and game have the same password and the person who hacked you also got your email address somehow.
Hacked accounts is of the past, unless, this was when the servers were taken down due to a bug with the account system but that was a while back now.

As usual in these situations, it's unlikely we'll ever know the full story but if it's a genuinely clean account that's been hacked through no fault of your own (not gold buying, shared account details etc) then I hope you get it back quickly. It won't be instantly tho.

To do this, they would not only need your ESO account name and password, but your recovery email address and it's password as well.
You were severely compromised in some form - Gave your info to a gold seller, or were phished, and use the same password for every single thing.
You need to reset your email password, and make it secure before fixing your ESO account. Otherwise they will just do it again. If they signed up for ESO+ with credit card info you had saved on the machine, contact your CC company, and tell them the charges are fraudulent. And make sure you reset the passwords and security questions for all online accounts....preferably from another computer that isn't possibly compromised.0 -
