Permanently stuck in slow-mo run speed

Anybody know how to get out of it without relogging?! Walk/run key doesn't help.. since then you walk even slower... it's as if you're perma snared, but nothing showing in the bug tracker. Old bug, one of many that's been around since they dawn of time.

This is one of the most horrible bugs currently in the game if it is what I am thinking about. It has been there for at least a year. Am I correct that you are running lighting staff? What happens is that if you have to break a full heavy attack, you get "stuck" in the animation. You walk very slow, and many skills wont fire (especially liquid lighting on a sorc). The only solution I have found is to do another full heavy attack on an enemy to reset the animation. There is also a bug where you simply just start heavy attacking with a lighting staff. That can be block or swap canceled. Unclear if its the same bug or not.

This can be a death sentence. I started noticing it when we were doing our VMOLHM progression, and then it seemed to get better. This patch, it is back with a vengeance. The fact that this still exists is beyond me. It is completely broken.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Do the devs even know about this? I can't imagine they don't, but never actually seen much about it on the forums.

No lightning staff no... flame/frost staff.. so it's not the channel bug.

Everything works, just the run speed is like you're super snared... nothing seems to get you out of that condition (except relogging)

Luckily it doesn't happen super often.. but with 300+ queues.. it is kind of annoying having to relog and having to requeue again.

The only way I know to beak the super snare is to use a channel heavy attsck with a lightning or resto staff. You don't need a target, just hold down the button to being the channel and you'll be able to move normally.

This happens to me once a week. Currently stuck right now. How has a *** bug like this persisted this long in game? Shoddy.

I roll Lightning Staves on both bars and this happens to me all the time. It's a lot of fun when it happens while PvPing.

Do a single fully charged heavy attack. It doesn't even need to target anything. Just a fully charged heavy attack. The game thinks you are mid heavy attack so it has slowed your movement speed accordingly. A single FULLY charged heavy attack will resolve this issue.

Had this happen to me recently, get some enemy to CC you then stunbreak and it should clear it up.

The only way my buddies and I can fix it is to kill ourselves and when we rez back up it's normal fixed

In Cyrodiil, this typically happens due to the infamous "Streak Bug" - where some confluence of factors, chief among them getting Streaked by a Sorcerer, put you in a state of permanent heavy snare. Even your horse is snared when you mount.

The only remedy is to go into Sheogorath's portal and return.
