Eshelmen✭✭✭✭✭Today - August 29th. I had no trouble reading this. Technically the author used ( - ) as an en dash. In OP's case, this obviously indicates a range between two dates, today and the 29th.
Although an en dash is one character longer, one who knows this shouldn't really be confused on what the title implies, but maybe just smirk at the typo.

✭✭Yep, they're on sale on all platforms! Just go to "Buy Crowns" on the game site, click on any of the Crown amounts and it will change to three links to the various platforms.
