Download time

So when u pre-ordered Morrowind the timer had a box cheked 4 expected auto-download date 6/4/17 so i ask [snip]? I dont get y ur game is only one in all of ps that down auto update anyways but y have a box and still nothing? So day when it does come all of us can take 4ever 2 download it on same day in stead of just jumpin in game thats if server dont crash first im mean ur downloads take 4ever and ur track record not great

So when you pre-ordered Morrowind the timer had a box checked for expected auto-download date 6/4/17, so i ask [snip]? I dont get why your game is the only one in all of the play store that does not auto update anyways, but why have a box and still nothing? So the day when it does come all of us can take forever to download it on the same day instead of just jumpin into the game. Thats if the server doesn't crash first. I mean your downloads take forever and your track record is not great.

Fixed it mostly.

[snip] OP is mad because there is a preload timer, but the preload feature isn't actually there for this update. He doesn't seem to understand that ZOS also has to do stuff on their side to prepare for a proper launch of the update.

Soooo if I got it right which I think I don't the issue is not being able to pre-download it so I can play on the day the second it becomes available to play ?.

No, actually that's right - but I think OP is further agitated by the fact that by default, Sony adds a timer to countdown when games will be available for preload (and yes, they do this on games that don't have preload too - it's purely on their end). AND that's not to discount the fact they don't roll out their preloads all at once... sometimes I get them a day or two after the date they said, because they release them by region.

you are a saint, now that it is more understandable perhaps i can shed some light on it. The option to toggle Auto update comes due to eso being a mmo, thus its updates tend to me much larger then normal games. They most likely present this option for those who have data limits, i know us in the USA avoid these limitations (for the most part) but i know some of my friends in japan and such get x amount of data per month.

On release date do you never ever have to download/install the game first?
Seems like you're making an issue out of something that has been in place for many years now.

And for everyone picking up on spelling and grammar, really? It's the lowest form of internet bullying and it's very sad. While people should do their best to speak correctly, it's not always that easy for some people. Least we can do is have some respect for one another. We're all here for the same thing after all.
