Is a text chat fix in the works for Xbox?

While it has been around for awhile, in the last week I've had a frequent bug where I try to pull up the keyboard to enter a message in text chat on Xbox and the keyboard does not come up. You can exit and try again but you the same thing happens. The only way to fix that I have found is a complete restart of the game. Even that doesn't fix it sometimes. Is there a fix in the works?

The fix for us is to use a chat pad or keyboard

The team hasn't confirmed it as a bug tho a few posts exists and I can confirm it happens but I have a chat pad so.......would you believe that I like the bug as the virtual keyboard is annoying if I have a chat pad

Is it ZOS or Xbox tho?
The virtual keyboard is part of the OS so while ZOS game prompts it....I'd be curious to know if both need to fix it or if it's just ZOS.

Are you all having the same issue typing on the Xbox activity feed or other text entry boxes?
Again...I have a chat pad so I type a lot but just recently think it's an Xbox issue as it's not limited to this game as of this week.

Just sharing my experiences.

This bug occurs literally every day for me. As broken as a feature can get imo. As a paid subscriber, its getting really hard to support this damn game.

If you have a physical keyboard plugged in and turned on, the virtual keyboard won't pop up. Not for me anyhow but I'm on PS4 not Xbox. Could this be the case with you? I've never encountered this bug but again I'm on a different platform.

It was inconsistent always on Xbox sometimes it opened, sometimes it didn't
