Sorry if this was already answered at one point, but if I set up my Merchant in my home to use, would I still be able to summon her out in the field without her being removed from usage inside the home as well?

    Yes you can.

    It's the same with mounts and pets, if you place them inside a house you can still use them out in the world, it just makes a copy.

    I have not placed a Merchant in my house yet, but if it acts like the Pets and Mounts, it won't move around.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
